00:00Starting with Tua Tungavailoa, who threw for 2,867 yards and 19 touchdowns.
00:06Going into last season, what were the projections for Tua?
00:1025, 35, 45 touchdowns.
00:13It was supposed to be this astronomical year for him.
00:17And not only was it not, George, when he came back after being hurt,
00:22this guy was just throwing it right over the middle for five yards every time.
00:25They were trying to keep him on the field and keep him healthy.
00:27This is one of the big wild cards going into the fantasy season, George.
00:31Not just Tua, but the Dolphins in general.
00:36You said it there.
00:37When you think about Miami, Tua has to stay healthy, has to be on the field.
00:41I know they upgraded their backup quarterback position.
00:44Well, I guess, once again, the joke will be, yeah, sure they did.
00:46Zach Wilson, you're back up there.
00:48But theoretically, they did.
00:50All right, so Tua has to stay healthy.
00:52And you're certainly correct.
00:53When you said they changed the offense immensely when he came back,
00:56because they didn't want to take him any hits, right?
00:58They didn't want him to take any hits here.
00:59So it was everything dump off, quick throws, three-step throw, three-step throws, no hits.
01:04You can't win like that.
01:05You can't do that.
01:07All right, so they're going to have throw more courses to the wind
01:09than have a regular NFL offense.
01:10He's going to have to take five steps, seven-step drops.
01:13You want to go max protection?
01:14Fine, do that.
01:15But he has to be an NFL quarterback.
01:17All right, you're going to get hit.
01:19Now, you know, we're a fantasy show.
01:22And do I think Tua is going to stay healthy with 17 games?
01:24No, and that has to come into all my projections and all my rankings there.
01:27I was put in his over-under at probably 13 and a half.
01:30And besides the major concussion, listen, we all know his career can be over
01:33almost at any moment.
01:34And we could say that's sort of every NFL player, right?
01:37ACL injuries happen.
01:39Other catastrophic injuries happen.
01:41But with Tua, you know, with the head, the concussion, it's a worry.
01:44It's definitely a worry, Craig, here.
01:46So I hope he stays healthy.
01:48You know, I truly do.
01:49The rules are designed for quarterbacks not to take hits there.
01:52Like a concussion, when he didn't slide, right, he can't do that.
01:56You have to slide.
01:57Get down.
01:58They don't want you to get hit.
01:58Get out of bounds.
01:59Get rid of the football.
02:00Whatever you have to do here.
02:01So he's an interesting player to watch because the offense could be good
02:05if he's on the field and playing a normal quarterback role.
02:09But it's probably not a risk I'm willing to take.
02:12Now, at running back, Devon A. Chain is one of the top 15 picks in every draft,
02:16probably higher in some others.
02:18I mean, George, this guy is – I don't know about a league winner,
02:21but he's a weak winner.
02:22When he goes off, it's 200 yards, three touchdowns, et cetera.
02:26Jim Wright proved to be a pretty good backup there as well.
02:29And then Ali Gordon is now their third running back.
02:32You may say, well, you know, who scores the touchdowns on this team?
02:34Wasn't it somebody else?
02:36Yes, the last couple of years, George, it was a guy named Raheem Moster.
02:39And he's gone.
02:41What does that mean for Devon A. Chain?
02:43Is it possible that he gets more goal line carries too?
02:45If so, we're not just talking about a top 10 pick in fantasy.
02:48We're talking about one of the very best.
02:51You said it.
02:52If you believe that he's the goal line guy too, then he's probably top eight.
02:56If you don't believe he's the goal line guy, then he probably falls out of the top 10.
03:00All right?
03:00So it's just what you believe here.
03:02The only running backs right now, Craig, that no doubt in my mind,
03:05I'm taking over A. Chain or Bajon, Gibbs, Barkley, Gente, probably McCaffrey,
03:12although I don't feel great about that, Derrick Henry.
03:15Those are the only guys I am definitely, absolutely, no doubt taking over A. Chain.
03:20He's sort of in that category of the running backs I mentioned earlier in the show
03:23with Jonathan Taylor, Bucky Irving, Carrie Williams, Josh Jacobs, Chase Brown, James Cook.
03:29You know, all those guys are sort of in the same grouping for me.
03:32But if you believe A. Chain is going to be the number one guy, you know, the Emmitt Smith,
03:36you know, the Barry Sanders, where he's going to get all the touch or most of the touches
03:39and the goal line guy, then he's probably no worse than, like I said, seven or eight for me
03:43overall for a running back.
03:45Yeah, no, he definitely made a big impact on the team last year
03:48and no threat of a trade or anything else.
03:51You know, it doesn't really seem to be reliant on Tua either.
03:54Okay, so now in terms of their pass catchers, that's a completely different story.
03:58Tyreek Hill is back after saying that he didn't want to be, George, at the end of last season.
04:05He had his fair share of off-the-field stuff again this offseason,
04:08very public battle with family issues and such.
04:12This is the lowest ADP for Tyreek Hill in a really long time.
04:16They also have Jalen Waddell.
04:18They brought Darren Waller back out of retirement.
04:21They have Nick Westbrook-Ekin from Tennessee.
04:26Malik Washington is there as well.
04:29Waddell has been a disappointment, George, without a doubt.
04:32I mean, we thought coming out of Alabama, this was a deep threat guy.
04:35He still may be.
04:36And, George, if you put him on another team, I think he could be.
04:39But they just don't throw deep when they're afraid the two is going to go down.
04:43They're throwing over the middle, and it's usually to Waddell.
04:44So, let's go.
