00:00Hey Jax, good to see you.
00:04Hi. I know it must be hard seeing your, you know, your name come down from the bar.
00:09I mean, after everything you've built, I mean, it must be hard, right?
00:14After everything we built, by the way, this is Leo, he's my business partner.
00:18I think, you know, we had a really great run.
00:21I was very blessed to have something like this with my business partner here and offer me such a great location.
00:27We had a great run with it and, you know, it is bittersweet, but it's also something that I need to do for myself to go in the right direction that I need to go in.
00:36And I think this is kind of a step towards that.
00:40But, yeah, it's a bummer. I know Leo's kind of bummed about it, too.
00:45I kind of, I don't want to say I blindsided him with this, but, you know, it is what it is, you know.
00:52Yeah, it is what it is, but it's a good thing. It's a good thing.
00:56You know, the bar's not closing.
00:58No, no.
00:59It's not closing.
01:00He decided, he came in about a week and a half, two weeks ago, and he said for his own mental health he was going to step away.
01:07So, you know, we're going to support him 100% in that.
01:10You know, it's been an unbelievable run and, you know, I'm really sad to see him go.
01:15Okay.
01:16Everybody's going to be sad to see you go.
01:18Yeah. How's it going?
01:19Yeah. I mean, I'm not, it's not going to be gone forever. I'm going to come back and, you know, I'll do some events here in the future.
01:24But I think just for a while, for the direction that I'm going in, I think this is the best move for me right now.
01:29I know. I know you said you were stepping away from the Valley to focus on your sobriety, your mental health.
01:34How is that going so far? I know the fans are very curious.
01:38Again, this is just a step in the direction that I need to go.
01:42My priority right now is my mental health and my son. Those are the two most important things to me right now.
01:46And, you know, just basically that's it right now. It's just one thing at a time.
01:51And that's, that's my only concern right now. And I'm trying to, you know, like I said, I think that's the best thing for me right now is to step away and kind of take a little bit of a breather.
02:01I don't think going back into filming right now would be a productive thing for me.
02:08Of course. Any regrets about how things went down with the cast or the bar or anything? I mean, or would you just have it all go down the same way? I mean, anything?
02:16No, no, obviously the way I handled certain things is it was completely wrong. And I take obviously full responsibility and accountability.
02:25I, I watch back. I watched the episodes back and I, I watched the reunion. It's just, it's horrendous the way I acted. It's just, I couldn't even watch it.
02:34That's how bad it was for me. So I can only imagine what the viewers, you know, thought when they were watching it.
02:39Um, it's embarrassing. It's, it's every word that I just don't want to be. So that's again, why I'm stepping away and kind of just, you know, kind of restructure myself a little bit.
02:49Listen, everybody in life goes through ups and downs. And I think this is, uh, this is my time to kind of restructure myself, reframe myself and come back in a better place.
02:58Fans are saying the Valley won't be the same without you.
03:01It'll be better.
03:02I mean, no, but they're saying you're the show. I mean, you have a lot of funny moments on the show. They say the show might not survive without you.
03:08I think it'll survive.
03:09You think it will?
03:10Yeah, of course. I think, you know what? I think it was a very dark season and I think, you know, right, right now they need some uplifting and I think they need some, you know, go a different direction.
03:19And like I said, I hope to come back one day. We'll see. But I think, you know what? I think, I think the Bravo needs a little break of Jack Scaler right now.
