Max Verstappen has confirmed he'll stay at Red Bull for the 2026 F1 season after talk of a switch to Mercedes.

00:00Of course, for me, you know, being part of the team for such a long time, it's like a second family.

00:05And it does look like we have a bit more fun than the average team on the grid, so I think that's very important as well.

00:15Of course, winning four titles has been a dream, more than a dream, I would say.

00:20I'm relaxed, I'm just looking forward, of course, to see how competitive we can be.

00:24And, you know, from there onwards also, like, once you realise a bit how competitive you are, you set a bit of a target.

00:31But that's too early to say at the moment.

00:33He can become one of the legends of sports for sure.

00:38It just depends on how things pan out, you know.

00:41There have been a lot of good drivers who could have had the same kind of chance and talent and everything, but it just didn't quite work out.

00:49He is a worthy champion, his driving is exceptional, and Red Bull are fierce competitors.

00:57And I have the greatest respect of the people working there.

01:01He is something special.

01:03As a matter of fact, when you say special, it's almost understating what this man is all about.

01:09And he has shown something right from the very beginning.

01:14I think for any team on the grid, you know, they're all enviable of the fact that Red Bull has a contract with this guy.

01:24Right, he's formidable. I mean, there's no doubt he is extraordinary.

01:29And he's at the very peak, I think, of what it's possible to be as a racing driver in Formula One.

01:39I mean, both speed, determination, he's fierce as a competitor on the track.

01:44You know, he's uncompromising, sometimes a little bit too aggressive.

01:49That's my view.

01:51But he delivers.

01:53He delivers more than possibly anybody could out of that car.

01:57For me, of course, I'm also almost part for halfway of that, you know, of the way of Red Bull in F1.

02:04So, from my side, it's definitely like a second family.

02:08I really grew up, you know, in here.

02:11And, yeah, it's just very exciting for the future as well, you know, to see what we can achieve together.
