00:00UMNO Supreme Council member Puat Zakashi took a jab at MIC Deputy President M Saravanan today,

00:07asking why the party had not walked away if it felt completely deceived about getting a cabinet post in the unity government.

00:15In a Facebook post, Puat suggested that MIC feared losing everything and lacked the political strength to make demands or threats.

00:23This was in response to an interview Saravanan had given to Utusan Malaysia.

00:27Saravanan, the sole MP from MIC, told Utusan Malaysia that MIC felt unwanted under the current administration

00:36and had been offered no government or GLC posts despite having senior leaders.

00:41The TAPA MP said MIC would decide on its next move after its annual general meeting in October.

00:48But Puat said the party would be better off with Barca Nacional instead of making threats that it could not back up,

00:54adding that MIC should rise with substance rather than resort to empty threats.
