00:09all doing really really well. We've got a special property coming on the market today and the Talbot

00:13Inn behind me is coming on the market with Fining Country. Award-winning Wales's end of the year

00:25heart of the historic town. I can't wait to show you this one. So I have spent quite a bit of time on

00:38the other side of the bar here in the Talbot over the years responsibly as you can imagine but it's

00:44a really really nice pub as well as obviously the restaurant aspect as well. It's very cozy, great

01:04There's an award-winning restaurant here at the Talbot. It's a beautiful light-filled space,

01:09seats lots of people overlooking the town. It's a lovely area.

01:12As you can imagine with a big enterprise like this there's a really big commercial kitchen which has

01:25been replaced and updated by my current clients so it's a really big space with lots and lots of

01:29capacity as well. The central location of the Talbot gives a really good opportunity for people to do

01:40more functions, weddings, funerals, whatever it might be, celebrations and the function room here

01:46at the Talbot is absolutely spectacular. You've also got a stage so if you're looking to try and do live

01:50music and bring it back to the area I think you could definitely do that.

01:59So I'm here on the stage in the function room. It's a really spectacular room, lots of commanding views

02:04across the space beyond. That's actually the historic Talbot sign. So local people and many

02:09generations of them would have been bought up with that on the front of the Talbot. It's really historic.

02:21There's 13 bedrooms at the Talbot, three budget and 10 which are really lovely and contemporary too.

02:26This is one of the modern ones at the back, overlooks the gardens. It's a really really lovely space.

02:31So there's a lot of history here about the Talbots and Tregaran and actually one of the really

02:42interesting bits is the fact that in 1848 a travelling circus came through here and an elephant drank some

02:48contaminated water because there used to be a lot of lead mining in and around Cormisweth in this area and

02:52died and is purportedly buried in the grounds of the Talbot Hotel. Who knew?

03:12So in conclusion, if you're looking for an iconic, unique and really special business in the heart of

03:17Tregaran, the Talbot established since the 17th century has it all. Award-winning, refurbished,

03:24great food, wonderful accommodation and lots of local history make this an irresistible choice for
