00:21that is actually a bigger star

00:24The slasher genre was ready for a burst of

00:27new blood and Chucky

00:29He supplied that in spades

00:32It was a new kind of horror figure

00:34Those movies were about the villain

00:38Many movies later and now a television series

00:41If you got asked to do a Chucky movie

00:43you can't really say no

00:44I was thrilled to be injured and

00:47put acid in my face even better

00:48I just had a ball

00:50You can ask your dad

00:52Your dad is always in the corner on the floor

00:55We're the ones bringing him to life

00:56And you have to really find a collective mindset to make the character work

01:01I set out to meet all these people surrounding the franchise

01:04whose names had been a big part of my childhood

01:06but I never had the chance to meet

01:07You know all of us were like a family

01:10So there is very much a wonderful familial flavor to it

01:15To be a part of something that so many people love is really surreal

01:22For such a large group of people to be invested in a story that has been told for over 30 years

01:28To be a part of that is truly special

01:30I am Chucky

01:32The killer dog

01:34And I dig it
