00:23ang bahagi ng Cebu Bus Rapid Transit Phase 1 sa bandang Fuente Osmeña ng Cebu City.

00:30Ayon sa kalihim, matapos ang pakikipagpulong sa mga lokal na opisyal ng Cebu Provincial Government

00:36at ng LGU ng Cebu City, isasalag na sa pilot testing ang CBRT na matagal na rin inaabangan ng mga commuter.

00:44He sent me here to make sure that this project happens quickly kasi 13 years na ito.

00:53So the President really wants this project completed.

00:57So I'm here to do that.

01:00So upon the orders of the President, we will finish this.

01:03And I'm very happy that we have an agreement with the province and the city

01:09that in September, first week of September, we will launch a pilot testing of Phase 1 of the Cebu BRT project.

01:19So I will already instruct the contractor and the bus operator that by September, we have to start running the buses here

01:29so that our people, the people of Cebu, can already start enjoying at least Phase 1.

01:35At least Phase 1, magamit na ng mga kababayan natin.

01:38Ayon sa DOTR, 95% ng kumpleto ang Phase 1 na tatahak sa mga mahalagang ruta sa lungsod ng Cebu,

01:47gaya ng South Road Properties, Cebu South Bus Terminal, Fuente Osmeña at Cebu IT Park.

01:54Sinuri din ni Sec. Dizon ang isa sa dalawampung bus na gagamitin para sa operasyon ng CBRT.

02:01Gagawa na rin ang paraan ng DOTR katuwang ang mga lokal na pamalaan para maging libre ang pamasahe ng commuters para sa pilot testing ng CBRT.

02:11Samantala, nag-inspeksyon din si Sec. Dizon sa runway ng Mactan Cebu International Airport na nakitaan ng mga bitak

02:21ilang linggo na ang nakalilipas na nagdulot ng flight interruptions sa paliparan.

02:27To me, it should not happen like that. So I will look at why it happened.

02:33But the good thing is, we were able to use the secondary runway already.

02:39And so far, so good. It's working well. At least now we have two runways in Cebu, Mactan.

02:46But we still have to ensure that what happened two weekends ago will not happen again.
