00:00Good morning, Greg. I made a mistake. Yesterday was the nine-year anniversary of the single

00:08worst prediction in the history of sports prognostication. Here's what it sounded like.

00:16Tom Brady's just about done. It could be his next game he plays, it could be a year from now,

00:21but he is going to fall off a cliff. Tom Brady is going to be a bum in short order.

00:28All right. Well, whoops, we all make mistakes. Since he said that, he won three more Super Bowls,

00:34went to four, won an MVP, and dominated the NFL well into his 40s. Then the rest of yesterday on

00:41ESPN was all about how angry we should be that Patrick Mahomes wasn't a 99 on Madden.

00:48The latest sign of the apocalypse. Who cares what his rating is? And nobody talks about the fact

00:54that he's coming off the worst Super Bowl performance since Rich Gannon 20-plus years ago,

01:00and he's had consecutive mediocre regular seasons. 26 touchdown passes in 17 games last year,

01:10and in 2023, he had 27. And those were in 17-game seasons. If that's Tom Brady, we're talking about

01:19him falling off a cliff. But it's Patrick Mahomes who we're talking about should be a 99, not a 98 on

01:26a video game. Make it make sense. There were some who thought he would certainly catch Tom Brady.

01:35It should be 99 club, though.
