During morning rush hour in Chandler, Arizona, a cement truck slammed into a Nissan pickup, flipping the vehicle and trapping a woman inside as flames erupted. A Chandler Police officer and an off-duty firefighter—who happened to be driving by with gear in his truck—risked everything to pull her from the wreck.

00:00Well, this next one is going to take us to Mesa, Arizona, where a Chandler police officer just happened to be at the right place at the right time.
00:10The morning rush hour is just getting started here on U.S. 60 in Mesa, Arizona.
00:16Up ahead, traffic slows down, and then this cement truck loses control, which immediately bursts into flames.
00:26Fortunately, this Chandler, Arizona, motorcycle cop just happens to be on his way to work.
00:32He parks his bike, grabs a flashlight, and approaches the vehicle.
00:41He realizes the driver is stuck inside and rushes back to his bike to grab something to break the window with.
00:51He began smashing the window.
00:56Meanwhile, good Samaritans are using fire extinguishers to help control the blaze.
01:07He breaks the glass, and then the driver attempts to step out.

01:19That dude is an off-duty firefighter, who also just happens to be on his way to work.

01:26He helps her climb out through the window, and she collapses in his arms.

02:05While the firefighter tends to the driver, the officer makes sure no one else is hurt.

02:29The driver of the cement truck was cited for failing to control the vehicle to avoid a collision.
02:34As for the victim, she's done okay, and was recently reunited with the police officer
02:38and firefighter who helped save her life, as well as the Good Samaritas, as you can see.
