00:00The word brilliant is overused, and it's almost to a point where nothing's really brilliant or genius because everybody uses it.
00:10This is genius. This is, what's the matter? My hair?
00:16What, is that okay?
00:17No. Yeah, like, help him out. There you go.
00:23Anyway, so this is brilliant.
00:26In fact, Gwyneth Paltrow is now the spokesperson for a company, and you would think, okay, well, you know, she's really famous and people like her, so what's so special about that?
00:42The company is Astronomer. If you remember, Astronomer is the company where the former CEO and the HR head ended up getting busted at the Coldplay concert.
00:55So, this just came out, and I am serious about the word brilliant. Play it, Devin.
01:04Astronomer has gotten a lot of questions over the last few days, and they wanted me to answer the most common ones.
01:10Yes. Astronomer is the best place to run Apache Airflow, unifying the experience of running data, ML, and AI pipelines at scale.
01:22We've been thrilled so many people have a newfound interest in data workflow automation.
01:26As for the other questions we've received, yes, there is still room available at our Beyond Analytics event in September.
01:36We will now be returning to what we do best, delivering game-changing results for our customers.
01:42Okay.
01:42Thank you, Ray Ernst and Astronomer.
01:44Do we need to explain to people, because I would think just about everybody knows?
01:48I mean, I think everybody knows, but we should just say it.
01:52So, I mean, obviously the background was the company of Astronomer, their CEO, got caught at the Coldplay concert.
01:58No, no, no, that's not what I'm talking about.
01:59Oh, what are you talking about?
02:00Oh, you're talking about-
02:01No, no, no, just that people remember.
02:03The fact that she used to- was she married?
02:04She was married. They have kids together.
02:06Obviously, that's the tie-in here, is the fact that it's Chris Martin's ex now helping out Astronomer, which basically got-
02:13Their CEO got fired because of Coldplay.
02:16Brilliant.
02:17And the interesting thing, too, so when this came in, at first I was making sure it was actually real.
02:22I thought it was AI.
02:23Well, that, A, I wanted to make sure it was actually-
02:25Because they're an AI company.
02:26And it's an AI company, so we did some digging on this, and not AI.
02:31She sat this week and actually filmed this video for them, which on- and the intel I'm getting, we can't get into all the specifics.
02:38I don't think she got paid for this.
02:40I don't think-
02:41I think they reached out to her, and she just thought, oh, this is like a fun thing I would do is make light of the whole situation.
02:46And it makes her so cool.
02:48I mean, she seems pretty cool.
02:49With all the, like, the sex toy stuff she does, being all open about her sex life.
02:54I don't know her at all, but everything I hear is she's super cool.
02:58So I think she just thought, this is a viral moment everyone's talking about, and I'm sure Astronomer did reach out to her, and she's like, yeah, I'm down.
03:04It is so brilliant.
03:06And, you know, you think about it, and, look, Astronomer is collateral damage in this whole thing, right?
03:13Right.
03:13That, you know, Astronomer must be like, oh, my God, you know, we're this big company, and now all of a sudden we're dealing with a fired CEO, well, who resigned.
03:24You're dealing with an HR person who had to resign, and it's just a mess public relation-wise for the company.
03:32So how do we turn it around?
03:34I mean, the PR person needs to get it.
03:36The PI person should win whatever the award is they give.
03:39Yeah, exactly.
03:39It's not PR.
03:41It's an ad agency.
03:42Yeah, yeah, that's true.
03:43But regardless, the spin, leaning into it, landing her to do it, I mean.
03:48It's amazing.
03:49I can't believe that you pulled this off.
03:51It's amazing.
03:52My name is Dominique Morgan in Atlanta, Georgia, and I think this is the most brilliant PR move of the decade to turn an amicable divorce into probably a big bag or at least a beautiful media moment for Chris Martin and Gwyneth Paltrow chef's kiss.
04:08You know, they get along, apparently, really, really well.
04:11When she talked about, you know, conscious uncoupling, which is kind of makes you wince, they truly get along.
04:16And I'll tell you, he had to know about it, too.
