Assamese actress accused in hit-and-run, GMC worker critical

00:06Guwahati Municipal Cooperation worker, in the ICU.

00:11Eyewitnesses claim that a speeding car allegedly driven by actress Nandini Kashyap

00:14struck Samiul Hak and left without offering any help.

00:17Fellow GMC workers then chased the car to an apartment complex,

00:22where Kashyap allegedly assaulted a bystander filming the scene.

00:25The vehicle was reportedly hidden in what many believe was an attempt to avoid detection.

00:28Samiul suffered severe head injuries and multiple fractures.

00:31He remains in the ICU but doctors have recommended shifting him due to his critical condition.

00:35In a further twist, the victim's family claims Kashyap promised to cover medical costs

00:39but later backed out and hasn't checked on Samiul since the incident.

00:42Though no arrest has been made,

00:44Guwahati police have launched an investigation and summoned Kashyap for questioning.
