00:00Hey there! What's up? Welcome! Come on in! Come aboard! What's up everybody? I'm Zach, I'm Colton,

00:22and I'm Garrett, and we are Restless Road! And we're here on our tour bus. We're nearing the

00:27end of our third headline tour, the going out like that tour. We're here in

00:31Chicago today, and this is our bus, and check it out. It's where we live. We're

00:35gonna show y'all what we roll in. Well, first things first, we got these

00:41nice leather couches, you know, you gotta have that. We got the mini TV right here.

00:45We watch stuff, and then we got our big TV, and then the big one right here. Yeah, and

00:49then this bus is actually really nice, and there's three of us, so it actually

00:53expands out, so we got a little more extra space when we're parked. You know, the

00:57kick, kick back, relax. You know, we're all six foot seven, so you know, we gotta have

01:02a lot of room to us spread out. Oh, check this out. We always gotta have our

01:06turtle box speaker, okay? We're always jamming tunes before the show. Could be

01:10our songs, could be some other artists, I don't know, but we always love the turtle

01:14box. Huge shout out to them, we love them. It's always great. So, there's like two

01:19categories of TV that we watch, right? We have like our show shows, and then we

01:24have our reality trash. Yes. Our show show right now is Righteous Jim Sons. Yeah. We

01:29love that. Baby Billy. Baby Billy. We're burning through it, and yeah, we're

01:34learning every character, every accent on the show. And then our reality show that

01:38we love right now, Secret Lives of Mormon Wives. But yes, last night we started our

01:45journey on Secret Lives of Mormon Wives. We've been chomping at the bit. We've been

01:49chomping. We watched season one last at one tours. Yeah, we did. Yeah, we're kind of

01:52weird. Like, we don't, once we leave the stage, we don't really party that hard. We just come

01:56straight to the bus and throw on reality TV. Yeah. We don't have enough drama in our

02:00lives, so we like to watch other people go through really, really interesting things.

02:04We're a pretty drama freak band. Oh, I wish it was something cool. This is, uh, Garrett's

02:10room. No, uh, this is just the controls. It's really dusty. We don't touch that. We don't

02:16touch that, because any time I touch that, we got a tech guy. He's really good with the

02:20technology. He's always, you know, twisting buttons, mashing them. I feel like there's

02:24like, I was going to say, yeah, I feel like we have this. We like to throw this while we're

02:29in here. It makes a really cool sound. Got that. We got to have the Louisville Slugger.

02:34This is custom Restless Road. That one is yours specifically. We have three mini bags. You never

02:39know when somebody's just going to just come on the bus. Yeah, if there's ever been an

02:42intruder saying, get off our bus! Oh, okay. Okay, hold on. So we got, this was last night.

02:50We, we played a show. We have a fan who's been out to, as of last night, was 33. 33 shows.

02:55She is actually here tonight. She's traveling the whole weekend, and she'll finish it out,

03:00and she'll have come to 35 shows, which is crazy. But she gave us a camera, um, to take

03:07moments. We can take a selfie right now. Boom. Ready? She wants to know what we're doing

03:17while we're on the road. So these are, these are great moments. Um, and then we'll give

03:22her that back after the weekend. Check this out. We got, well, this one's, this one's a

03:25defective one. Don't look. These are our defective hats. But we got the, we got the hottest merch

03:29in the game. Don't look at that part. This one, this one fell on the ground. Don't look.

03:32But yeah, this is the hottest merch in the game. It's our new hats, the Upside Down Restless

03:35Road. We also got some OGs right here. This is one of our first hats. We had the camo

03:39Restless Road, you know, the orange Hunter Patch right here. Pretty cool. Oh, check this

03:43out too. So all three of us have one of these, and it's like a leather, custom, custom leather

03:49holster that Tim McGraw gave us when we were opening for him. And you know how you wear your

03:55headphones on stage? You have a pack that you wear on your belt, and this is what you put

04:00your pack in. So it kind of gives it a little extra flair, a little cool factor. So thanks,

04:04Tim McGraw, we go everywhere with these. All right, we got to check. We got to see.

04:08This is, this is one of the coolers. I don't honestly have a whole lot of, I don't know

04:14what's in it. Couldn't tell. Okay. Big, big, the new Bush Light. I mean, see, this is the

04:24OG Bush Light. This was the newer one, to be quite honest, and more of an OG. Oh, hold on.

04:28Actually, in this bag, this all came from my house. I do know something that I put in this

04:34bag that's actually really funny. I've got multiple jars. Oh. I've got multiple jars.

04:40That's that, that's that hundred proof that all these, that's that shy. That's that 80 proof

04:43that all these country singers out here are talking about. Oh, I think all the other ones

04:45are talking to Fred. Woo. These are, oh, there's White Lightning. Yep. This ain't water, son.

04:52So, but it's funny, because we're actually not big drinkers on the road, but yet. So we said

04:57we're not big drinkers, but check out our liquor cabinet. We got it stocked. We got everything,

05:00we, everything a band could need. Got a little tequila, a little makers, Jack Daniels, screwball,

05:05Tito's, uh, great goose. We got, uh, we got it all. We got all. I feel like a lot of people

05:10don't realize this, but when you're on the road, you have a thing called a rider and every single

05:14night you can put things on it and the venue gives you, gives you so much money to get that

05:19stuff. And somehow we don't, we've tried to make this fluctuating rider. So we don't get

05:25the same things every night, but sometimes we get like the same thing all weekend. And

05:31then you'll end up with six bottles of the same exact alcohol throughout the weekend.

05:35A lot of Jack Daniels, a lot of, a lot of, uh, screwball. Yeah. Lots of screwball. That

05:41was a phase. We're not, honestly, that was a phase. It was an old, and it was an old rider

05:45and somehow it got sent out this week. Oh, we got these cool, uh, this is new. We got,

05:50uh, oh yeah. These were, we, we actually tried this last night for the first time. So commode.

05:59Commode. Ready to chill green tea shots already pre-batch. And white tea. We have white tea

06:04too. White tea one as well. And we, uh, we broke that open last night. Had a good time.

06:08Pretty good. Of course, we were stocked with mayonnaise. You gotta have the mayo. Oh yeah. And

06:14a leftover frosty from last night. Oh, nice. Yeah. As we said, there's literally

06:20not really like anything in here. Our main snacks. Oh, all right. Oh God. Oh God. So I won't,

06:29I don't know how appropriate it would be to read some of like a section of this. Um, but a fan

06:36gave us this last week. She's published a book and, um, the book is completely inspired by our

06:44music. I think one of the characters looks like that. Please tell me. I'm pretty sure

06:50that this was my hat hair, but yeah, it looks like it's modeled after me. Okay. So let's

06:54go. Let's, let's just flip through the art. Our set list is in the front of the book.

06:59Restless road, a bunch of our songs. So these songs inspired this book and it's somewhat of

07:06a romance novel. It's not, it's not a romance. It's like an erotic. It's dirty. It's a little

07:11raunchy, but, uh, yeah, she bookmarked in the book where our songs came. She said, I wanted

07:18to thank you for making the kind of music you can't help but fall in love with while writing

07:23this book. I listened to your songs on repeat. They inspired me so much. So thank you for everything.

07:28And yeah, we'll flip to a random page. You're going to have to bleep, bleep and blur this.

07:32He says no. Okay. We're an hour into our six hour drive of the day. Tate has eaten and taken

07:38her meds and is sitting next to me, happily singing along to the new album, restless road,

07:43her favorite country band. Her voice is so beautiful. I find myself resisting the urge

07:49to close my eyes, to take away one of my senses, to heighten the other, to only listen to her.

07:55The taste of her lingers in my memory. No, no, stop. No, no, no, no. Don't do it. Okay.

08:01All right. Yeah. You get the idea. There's stuff about moaning and I don't know. It gets

08:06really dark. It seems innocent and ugly. It goes from zero to a hundred pretty quick,

08:10but chapter 26, that's. Yeah. Pick up the book. It's called The Pluto and Back. The Pluto

08:25Interesting. All right. This is our snack cabinet. So we usually do a lot of the Cheez-Its and of course

08:30extra toasty. We're like stocked on the Cheez-Its. What was the new one last week?

08:34The cheddar jack. Extra toasty. We always do the Cheez-It M&M combo. It goes hard. And then

08:40new edition. We love Takis. And they have Takis sticks. Now a little more dainty.

08:45Wait, I haven't done it. Yeah, very good. Oh, the Twizzlers. Twizzlers. Sweet and Sour.

08:51Oh, let's go. I'm not a big candy guy, but. But you sure are sweet. I'll tell you that.

08:56Oh. Yeah, these are good. Oh, wow. These will get you. Those are phenomenal. I love the spicy.

09:02Are you talking to me? I'm Takis and Thiel. Takis, so yeah. We're big snackage. We're like

09:07snack fiends, so. That's snack beacon if you guys haven't been there. Look at this sticker.

09:13This was the coolest sticker. So we had a fan make us, I don't even know, cartoons? But yeah,

09:19we have a sticker. We get a lot of these from fans, a lot of friendship bracelets, I guess

09:24you'd say. This one says, she calls me daddy. That's the one's for me. And, uh. Oh, show

09:31them our little soldiers. Oh, another fan last night gave us, these are called, like, they're

09:35nuggets or something. Nugget stickers. And, uh, just different stickers. Very. All chicken

09:39nuggets. All chicken nuggets. Cowboy one, very cute. We'll find places to put these. We have

09:45these little soldier figures. Yep. Another fan gave us this last night, little soldier.

09:50And she says to place these soldiers somewhere that will remind you to pray for those serving

09:54our country. We love them. So thank you to those serving our country. Yeah. We got you

09:58around the world. Coldest Brothers in the Air Force. We have a lot of family that have served

10:01in the military, so we take that very serious. We like to, you know, you know, monitor those

10:05people. You gotta show them what's in the microwave. We don't use that all that often, but we have

10:09the essentials, you know. I mean, just in case you need a, just a can of Zip. Yeah, we

10:13just, we always keep, we always keep it in a can, you know, just in case. You never

10:17like tea. And so like, I got me a, I got me a cup that I just keep on the road. And

10:23so people know it's mine. You know, the C. It's so sad. Like our, our, our cabinets are

10:28really, really sad. Lots of gum. Gum and Sharpies. We've got them. You never know

10:34when you're going to need that. Yep. Lots of coffee. And of course, right here. You

10:37just got to hit this button. There's one rule on this bus. You know, you should know

10:43what it is. If you've watched these, I guarantee you somebody. You know the rule. There's a

10:47number one rule on a bus. Never take a number two. Never. That's right. Never take a number

10:51two. There's a shower we never use. We've never actually used that ever. We actually a lot

10:55of times to put storage stuff in there. Yep. I sleep in there sometimes. All right. Let's

10:59go to that. So we've got 12 bunks. 12 beds. 12 beds. With your grandma's curtains. Mostly

11:08it's like 10 people out. So usually on a, on a normal weekend we'll have, we have 12 bunks.

11:13We have 10 people. So usually we have about nine to 10. So we have two or three junk bunks.

11:17It fluctuates. It fluctuates. You know, sometimes we have a video editor or like a content person

11:21come out. Sometimes they're not here. So two to three junk bunks, depending on

11:25the weekend. But yeah, we got a, got a bunch of, this is, this is, okay, hold on. Let's,

11:29I don't even know if we can think about it. Um, this is feather. He is our Kyle Featherstone,

11:35AKA feather. He's a in-ear monitors, production manager. Greg is down here. Greg, he's our front

11:42of house. Um, junk, junk bunk. Yeah. This one's empty, empty other than storage, storage. This

11:49one empty. No. Well, yeah, this is another junk bunk. We ain't got nothing on it. Nothing.

11:53That's a, who's saddest. I don't know. That's sick as hell. That's a really cool. Yeah,

11:56I'm going to have Lonnie. I might just do that. Well, I'm stealing that. And then who's,

11:59our drummer, Cody, Cody, Cody Hawkins. He sleeps. Oh, he's a dirty boy. Look at his setup. Oh,

12:04dude, he's got the tech setup. He's got his rigged out. Dude, Apple watch charger. He's got a

12:09freaking iPad chilling. I mean, dude, that's crazy. What is he watching? What the hell, dude?

12:13What is he doing in here? This is also junk. Also junk. A lot of junk. We got three junk

12:18ones. What the hell's he doing in there? Okay. This is. Okay. Lead guitar player. Matt. Matt.

12:25This is, this is me. Now I'm, I'm going to be honest. I'm notoriously known for keeping way

12:30too much stuff in my bunk. I just like need just a small space. Call him the pack rat. But

12:35there's more stuff in here than normal because we tried to at least clean up a little bit for

12:39you guys. Why? Oh man, we call him the pharmacy, dude. He's got it all. Look at this guy.

12:44Dude. Yeah. It's really bad. Damn. Yeah. Sorry guys. Of course you got to have the Dr.

12:50Vox. Yeah. Dr. Vox. Good warmup tool. People think it's a bong. It's not. Yeah. You bubble.

12:55My pure mist. Just good mist for when you're playing a show. Yeah. Got a lot of stuff in

13:02here. Yeah. So, okay. We got Garrett. Garrett down here. Garrett's in the bottom. Just a,

13:09yeah, literally just my backpack and some cables. We like to record a lot of audio. We're on the

13:14road. I also got my Dr. Vox. Nothing, nothing too interesting in my bunk. It's just, uh, I sleep

13:19there really. Every now and then I like to just pee the bed just to see if Garrett's awake or asleep.

13:24Just to. I feel like when you're first getting on a bus, we always say, unfortunately, we're not mean

13:32like this, but we always have first choice. We get, we get first choice in bunks. We're paying for it. So I

13:38personally like the middle because I don't like to climb and I also don't like to get in the very

13:44bottom and it's just a good, and I feel like that's where I can feel and kind of rock myself

13:50to sleep and not like too much. If you're on the top, you move the most. The bottom, it's just.

13:56I like the bottom. I've always chosen the bottom because I don't want to fall out of my bunk. I'd be

14:01scared. And I get up to use the bathroom a lot in the middle of the night. I'm like, I'm a two or three

14:05time of night guy. You know, I'm getting up to go to the bathroom. So like, I don't want to climb either.

14:10And I like, I like the, the rumble of the road. I like to feel the rumble. It makes me feel safe.

14:15I fell out twice this past year. Yeah. He falls a lot. He falls a lot. I have never happened to me.

14:20If I fall, I'm only, you've only got about six inches to go. So it's, it's not, not bad. That's what I like.

14:24So I'm, I'm the bottom, bottom bunk guy. Yeah. I'm a middle, this is mine. I'm the middle bunk as well.

14:29I like it. It's easy access. So I'm a middle guy. And he just likes to be, we, we like to be able to just

14:36open it up. We have the neighborhood, the friendly neighborhood restless road. We, everybody's always in the

14:40right in a row, you know, we always like to talk and Zach's girlfriend's out for the weekend. This is

14:45her bunk for the week. So yeah, pretty much. Yeah. All right. Back, back lounge, back lounge.

14:50There is honestly, I feel like this does not get utilized. To be quite honest, this as of like an

15:00hour ago until you guys were coming, this looked a whole lot different. This is where we always just

15:07dump our cars. Yeah. There's so much like, because it's really a shame, but you know, there's like,

15:12you know, like we said, there could be nine, 10 people on this thing and there's only so much

15:16stuff. Don't do it. Yeah. There's only so much places you can put stuff. So unfortunately we

15:20don't hang in here as much as we probably would like to. We normally, these are going to start

15:24now though. This is like, this is a closet. Um, and it's just got a bunch of junk in it right now.

15:31Quite, quite normal. Um, I actually found this out. I didn't realize this. What is that? I've never

15:36even seen that. It's another one. I actually had my hat boxes in it last week. Cowboy hats. Um,

15:42actually stored in there. We got another holder. There's literally nothing. There's nothing in

15:45here. Literally. Oh, dead empty. We need more beer back here. I don't know what that's for

15:55either. I want to know if that works. Those are all my boots. These are all the boots. These

15:58are what we, these are the boot drawers. That's my boot drawer specifically. I don't know what's

16:02in that. Most of the time. Shoes, drummer shoes, Cody, Cody's, uh, the drum. You got to have

16:09the flat shoes for the drummer. They always like to have them flat. I'm not really sure why,

16:12but there's that. But that's pretty much our bus, man. That's pretty much what we rock

16:17with every weekend. That's where we live. And, uh, yeah. All right. So again, we're
