00:14In a major crackdown, the Muradabad police arrested the influencer on 26th July for posting
00:19abusive, obscene and communally offensive content on social media. Aamir is the creator of the
00:24popular YouTube channel Top Real Team, which has over 5.83 million subscribers. His content
00:29often laced with vulgar language, has long drawn criticism for crossing lines of decency.
00:34He also commands over 5 million followers on Instagram. According to officials, the charges
00:39against Aamir include spreading malicious propaganda, hurting religious sentiments and sharing obscene
00:44material online, similar to a recent case in Sambhal involving YouTubers Mehak and Pari.
00:49The controversy intensified after a user named Aman Thakur tag the Muradabad police on X,
00:54sharing a video that highlighted Aamir's objectionable content and demanded action.
00:58The police launched an investigation and after monitoring his content in detail, proceeded
01:03with the arrest. There are also unverified reports that Aamir is related to a well-known
01:07politician and is followed by celebrities like Hani Singh and Prince Narula, which allegedly
01:12emboldened his online activities. Authorities have made it clear that such actions will not
01:16be tolerated and legal steps will be taken against both creators and amplifiers of such disturbing content.
