00:00Concorde is one of those classic paper airplanes that has been around so long that no one really
00:04knows who originally designed it. In fact, this is basically just the classic dart turned into
00:08a jet. Now it's really easy to fold, it looks amazing, and it flies well, so let's see this
00:13thing in action and then I'll teach you how to fold it. Three, two, one, go!
00:30All you'll need in order to fold this plane is a sheet of A4 paper or 8.5 by 11 inch paper,
00:48and we're going to begin by folding this edge here to this edge.
01:00Now we'll go ahead and open the paper up and fold this into the center, but you want
01:06to leave a little gap just like this and do the same thing on the other side. Again,
01:15leaving just a little gap here. Now we'll take this edge and fold into the inner edge here.
01:26You don't go all the way to the center crease here either, just kind of control
01:29that layer and try to land this edge right on the layer you had behind it.
01:37Just like that.
01:40We'll do the same thing on this side.
01:49And I bet that looks familiar. And we'll fold in one more time though,
02:02going into this edge again, not all the way to the center.
02:17Okay, do the same thing on the other side.
02:27And your plane should look like this. Now open the layer up to here and note where your kind of first flap
02:46intersects the center. And I'm just going to put my finger right there. And now I want to fold out from
02:53that point down to this corner.
03:09I'll take this layer here behind it over that same edge as well. And then I'll do the same exact thing
03:16on the other side.
03:33Okay. And now basically I want to create a crease on this back layer that runs right along this edge and
03:40just stops at the center crease. So I just grab these layers and kind of roll them over just like this.
03:50And once I do that on one side, I'll do the same exact thing on the other. Just roll these over
03:57just like that. And now we're prepared to do what's called a jet fold. So you can see you can kind of
04:01bring your sides in just like this and it'll naturally want to stand. You can see what's happening
04:07from this perspective as well. Just bringing it together like that. And then you can lie your paper
04:15sideways just like this.
04:22And fold your wing up right along this edge.
04:30Flip it over. Do the same thing on this side.
04:37And now go ahead and fold something like this where you're starting just a little bit down from this
04:50point here. And then fold right up to this corner.
04:57Just like that. And now we can reverse this crease right here and the center crease.
05:08Just like that. And we'll make sure we reverse this crease as well.
05:14Like that. And that's going to allow us to stand that fin up in the middle.
05:19So when I close this all up, really reassert those creases. You can see
05:25that fin stands up right in the middle just like that. And there you go. This is a finished Concord.
05:30You will probably need some up elevator on the back of this plane to make it fly best.
05:36Which means you just bend the back edges up a little bit. And that will help it to glide
05:40rather than nose dive. So you're just bending those edges up. And there you go. So with that said,
05:46thank you so much for watching this video. And good luck flying.
05:49Thank you so much to all of my patrons who are supporting this channel and making these videos
05:53possible. I'm now releasing a new tier where you can become the pilot of your favorite foldable
05:57flight paper airplane. And your name will appear next to the paper airplane you choose in each of
06:02my YouTube videos. So head over to patreon.com foldable flight and join the foldable fleet today.
