00:00One of my all-time favorite movies is getting a sequel after all these years and I'm kind of

00:05emotional these days. The Devil Wears Prada 2 is officially in production and I've been digging up

00:11the internet since I heard the news. Luckily I found tons of information as well as leaked photos

00:18and scenes so let me give you the latest updates. First of all I want to do a quick recap to remind

00:24you what happened back in 2006. Our beloved Andy started working in Runway Magazine one of the

00:31most successful magazines back then with Miranda Priestly, Emily, and Nigel and it was a disaster.

00:39I mean do you remember the look she gave to Andy the first time she saw her? So iconic. The thing is

00:45even though it's an iconic movie it left us with literally no cliffhangers. For some of you who may

00:52not know The Devil Wears Prada is a book written by Lauren Weisberger and she released a sequel in

00:592013 Revenge Wears Prada. It focused on Andy and Emily working together for a bridal magazine

01:07Miranda was not included in the book and it scared the shit out of me you know to not be able to see

01:15Miranda in the sequel. It would be a disaster but thankfully they won't be going by the book.

01:20Turns out it'll be about the return of the runway. I mean I can't think of Miranda without Runway

01:26anyways. The sequel will take place in real time which means we'll also get to see what they've been

01:32doing for the past 20 years but there's this teeny tiny problem. We're living in a digital world now.

01:40I mean the only time I leave my phone is when I make these videos for you guys. As you can see

01:45people stop buying print media and I can't blame them. If you had the chance to read something from

01:50your phone would you really carry it around? And you know Miranda she's stubborn and has her own way

01:57of doing things. That woman knows everyone she works with and never works with anyone else for god's sake.

02:04Oh and imagine Miranda scanning QR codes to see the menu. Yeah that's not happening. So she would really

02:10need help if she really wants to runway to be successful. Like she might even have to take a

02:16look at TikTok fashion trends and not gonna lie even the thought of it made me giggle. So I guess we all

02:23know who'll be the help right? Andy as a successful journalist will be there for her. She's been talking

02:30with people through the newspapers for the last 20 years. She knows how to talk with them and especially

02:36the strategies. I mean if you can win over Gen Z you can do anything these days and believe me she

02:43would know that. Speaking of her let me show you her leaked pictures from the set. Just look how gorgeous

02:49she is. I mean I still can't believe that she's 42 years old. It was like yesterday when I first saw her

02:56in the princess diaries and she looks exactly the same. Here you can see that she's carrying a runway bag

03:04and I can't stop thinking who's that for. Is it Miranda's? Is it for a photo shoot or is it Andy's?

03:10I don't know. Like for a big event. And in this scene we saw her getting on a bus with her runway bag.

03:17So does that mean they're gonna leave New York even for a couple of days? It can still be both a photo

03:23shoot or an event. Oh I'm so curious. Here we see her getting out of her van with her casual outfit

03:31and it gives both an Andy vibe and looks good at the same time. That means she learned how to combine

03:38Andy and Chic. And I have one last thing to show you. Here you can actually see that she's the same

03:45old Andy from 2006 and she's definitely talking with Miranda if you ask me. Another must-have

03:52character is of course Nigel aka Stanley Tucci. He was pointing out that he would definitely be back

03:59if there will be a sequel over the last couple of years. In an interview he said I know they're

04:05working on it. If it happens I would be so happy but I cannot give you any information. Otherwise I'll

04:12go to the actor's prison or something. He just knew it and manifested it I guess like we all did.

04:18And now we have leaked scenes of Nigel and Andy. When I first saw those photos I thought they were just

04:24having a lunch together and talking about how they've been and everything but turns out it's

04:29more than that. We also see Miranda is there having lunch. In that case a meeting with them. I think this

04:36will be the first scene where we see Nigel. Andy and Miranda will try to convince him to work with them.

04:43I don't know if I need to tell you this but Emily Blunt is also going to be in the sequel.

04:48Duh. She's literally the only one who can stand up to Miranda and she actually likes it.

04:53I always thought she's maybe a little bit of a masochist just saying y'all. So now let me give

04:59you some updates on the release date. On June 30th they announced that The Devil Wears Prada 2

05:06was officially in production and the sequel is scheduled to release on the 1st of May

05:122026. That means we can get the trailer in early 2026. Don't forget to follow for more
