00:06the cult video game promising even more chaos and carnage.

00:20Marvel star Anthony Mackie took the series to present audiences at Comic-Con personally.

00:27Season one was so great, it was such a great experience being able to shoot in New Orleans

00:31and everything that gave to the show and then being able to explore and kind of exemplify

00:37that ridiculous nature and vocabulary that we created in season two and to have a fan

00:43base, to have people that really appreciate it and enjoy it, you know, as an actor walking

00:48into the areas here at Comic-Con and people's reaction is the closest thing you'll ever

00:53experience to being a rock star.

00:55So, you know, I just, I feel like Mick Jagger every time I walk in.

01:01The show follows a band of outsiders who enter a chaotic contest called Twisted Metal, hosted

01:07by the enigmatic Calypso.

01:09Behind the wheel of weaponized, highly modified vehicles, they battle in a deadly demolition

01:14derby where only one can win.

01:17Fans say the over the top action and wild characters feel like the video game has come to life on

01:22screen.

01:23No, I meet so many young people now who watch the show who are learning about the

01:28game, who didn't even know the show was based on a game and then went back and found the

01:32game from the show.

01:33And even with my son, my 16 year old, he watched the first season and I, you know, we went back

01:40and played the game together and he was like, this is impossible, how'd you play this?

01:45Yeah, he's not like riding a bike.

01:46This is impossible and it's the only game I can beat him at.

01:50Anthony Mackie and Stephanie Beatrice are back as John Doe and Quiet, partners and drivers

02:09in the dystopian world hoping to bring freedom to everyone.
