Oregon Ducks linebacker Bryce Boettcher on quarterback Dante Moore
Transcript
00:00You get to be around Dante more, a lot more than the Duck fans out there.
00:04Yeah.
00:04How would you describe him, and what makes him different?
00:08Makes him different.
00:09Well, Dante got into golf this year with me a little bit, too,
00:11so we've golfed a few times, which has been awesome.
00:15He's gone into country music as well, which is great.
00:18I know he's from Detroit, so I'm sure there's not a whole lot of country music
00:21being played out in Detroit.
00:23So, yeah, no, he's a good dude, man.
00:26He's very authentic to himself.
00:28He has a lot of confidence, but he's not arrogant either.
00:31He's humble as well.
00:33So, you know, and the way he puts touch on his ball when he throws it is amazing,
00:38so I'm excited for him.
00:39What are some of those golf outings like as you guys are picking up this sport
00:43for the first time?
00:44Man, we were at this donor golf tournament, and I think we were golfing 18.
00:49I don't know what hole we were on, but we were competing with some guys,
00:52and they had these pretty cool golf shoes, and they were like,
00:55all right, we want to play this hole and see if we can win these golf shoes.
00:58Off of them, and I totally just, I think I hit, like, a triple bogey on the hole.
01:03Totally just messed it up.
01:04But we were playing a scramble, so he, you, like, play your ball in,
01:07and I think he birdied the hole and won us the shoes.
01:09Wow.
01:09So, yeah, that was a pretty good experience.
01:12Yeah.
01:12So I got a new set of golf shoes in my apartment right now from that.
01:15Teamwork makes the dream work.
01:16Exactly, exactly, exactly.
