Andy Byron and Kristin Cabot, the head of Astronomer’s HR, were caught canoodling on the kiss cam at Coldplay’s concert at Foxborough Stadium near Boston. Cabot quickly covered her face and Byron ducked out of view.
Coldplay singer Chris Martin quickly remarked, “Either they’re having an affair or they’re very shy.”

Andy was immediately forced to resign over the scandal, and Cabot has been placed on leave. But that's not even close to the end of the story.

00:00These secret lovers got caught cheating in the worst possible way,
00:03on a huge stadium jumbotron at a massive Coldplay concert.
00:06Now, the mega-viral story just keeps getting worse,
00:09after the adulterers were identified as the CEO and head of HR of a major tech company.
00:14Either they're having an affair or they're just very shy.
00:18It all started innocently enough when the band Coldplay took the stage at Gillette Stadium in Boston,
00:23but it ended with Andy Byron and his date Kristen Cabot, uh, facing the music,
00:27when the band's camera crew began filming random fans in the crowd.
00:30It was a perfectly wholesome and joyful moment for each fan featured,
00:34that is, until the camera landed on one cuddled-up couple.
00:37Yeah, oh, look at these two. All right, come on, you okay?
00:41The pair was visibly shocked once they realized their faces had been broadcast across the stadium
00:46filled with 55,000 other concertgoers.
00:49The woman immediately covered her face and turned away from the camera,
00:52while the stunned man ducked down and exited the frame.
00:55Frontman Chris Martin then joked that either they're having an affair or they're just very shy.
01:00Oh my god!
01:02Holy s***.
01:04I hope we didn't lose that bad. All right, okay.
01:06The clip instantly went viral due to the lover's horrified reactions
01:09and made it seem quite likely the two lovebirds were indeed caught having an affair.
01:13As the viral moments spread across the internet like wildfire,
01:17details about the not-so-discreet sweethearts emerged and confirmed what everyone had suspected.
01:22Coldplay threw a couple on the kiss cam. Turns out they were having an affair?
01:26It turned out that Chris Martin was right.
01:28The couple was identified as Andy Byron and Kristen Cabot,
01:31who were not only married to other people,
01:33they were both colleagues at a tech company called Astronomer.
01:36Two married co-workers embarking on a secret love affair is bad enough.
01:39But somehow, things kept getting worse for Byron and Cabot.
01:42You see, Andy and Kristen weren't just co-workers at Astronomer.
01:45Andy was the company's CEO, and Kristen was their HR chief.
01:49You know, the top executive of the department that enforces strict rules around unethical office
01:54romances? While many commenters felt like the embarrassment of being caught in 4K
01:58was punishment enough for Byron and Cabot. But the outrageous impact of their bizarre public
02:03scandal resulted in harsh consequences for the executives. CEO Byron was forced to resign
02:08from his role after failing to meet company standards, in an official statement from Astronomer.
02:13As for Chief People Officer Cabot, she's allegedly been placed on leave.
02:16Random kiss cams on Jumbotrons have been a thing at live sports events for ages.
02:21And awkward moments from fans in the stands caught on camera are nothing new.
02:24But at least Coldplay has taken note of the chaos they accidentally caused.
02:28They're now giving a warning with crowds before the kiss cam part of their performance.
02:32We'd like to say hello to some of you in the crowd.
02:35How we're going to do that is we're going to use our cameras and put some of you on the big screen.
02:39As for the random Coldplay fan who caught the scandalous viral moment on camera and shared
02:46it on social media, she had this to say when asked why she pushed publish on that video post.
02:51A part of me feels bad for turning these people's lives upside down, but play stupid games, win stupid prizes.
