Leeds has officially tumbled down the rabbit hole, as a spectacular summer adventure trail arrives in the city. The awe-inspiring project, based on Lewis Carroll’s Alice in Wonderland, launches tomorrow (July 26). It will see familiar streets and landmarks transformed into surreal and enchanting storybook adventures, with interactive elements and seven larger-than-life installations.

00:00Andrew Cooper, I'm Chief Executive of Leeds Business Improvement District.
00:03Well, we're at the Mad Hatters Tea Party. It is proper mad, isn't it? Right in the
00:08centre of Leeds, we're in Victoria Gate and this is part of the Wonderland
00:12Awaits. It's our summer takeover. Every year Leeds Bid brings people together to
00:17do a summer activation and this year we are doing that with Wonderland Awaits,
00:22who basically got to follow the trail to finish the tale. And there are seven
00:27animations across the city like this one that people can enjoy over the summer
00:31holidays from the 26th of July, which is tomorrow, right through the summer
00:36holidays to the end of August. So people can come in and experience lots of
00:39different things happening. Really? But where's that? In Leeds, Hatter. Really? Where's that? In Yorkshire, Hatter.
00:51My office is quite close to the Eat Me Drink Me, so I'm looking forward to having one
00:55of the marshmallows because they've been specially prepared by a local company.
00:59People can eat the marshmallows, but after food you need exercise, so I'm them
01:04looking forward to playing croquet with the flamingos and the hedgehogs.
