A Taipei court says that Taiwan People's Party founder Ko Wen-je will not be let out of jail to cast a ballot in a mass recall vote scheduled for Saturday. Ko's supporters plan to appeal.

00:06Ke is in detention over a corruption scandal dating back to his time as Taipei mayor.
00:11He had applied to be let out to cast a ballot but was denied by the Taipei High Administrative Court.
00:18Ke's supporters have vowed to appeal that ruling.
