President Donald Trump signed three executive orders Wednesday aimed at accelerating U.S. leadership in artificial intelligence, according to The Hill. The orders fast-track data center permitting, promote American AI exports, and bar AI systems with ideological bias from federal contracts. Trump unveiled his AI Action Plan at an AI summit and on the All-In podcast,  pledging unmatched innovation and national dominance. One order directs the Council on Environmental Quality to streamline environmental reviews for low-impact data centers. The move follows criticism of so-called “woke AI” from tech leaders like Elon Musk, who claims models like Google Gemini promote political bias.
