01:40Alien Earth is the story of a Wailing Yutani ship collecting species from around the galaxy that crashes on the planet Earth.
01:48But it crashes on the property of a different corporation, the Prodigy Corporation, which is run by a billionaire named Boy Cavalier, who is trying to create the first transhuman hybrid.

03:00The hero is a character named Wendy, a 12-year-old girl who finds herself in a synthetic adult body.
03:07She's been separated from her family as part of this secret project that the Prodigy Corporation has done.
03:12There you are.
03:14With Wendy, you start out with a feeling of innocence.
03:18And you see cracks begin to form in what she thinks is a safe and beautiful world that she's been given.
03:26And what she does with that, what fight she decides to take up, and which one she decides to leave behind.
03:32And God forbid you try and stand in her way.
03:34Wendy has a brother out there, human brother, and she's determined and desperate to save him.
03:40I found you.
03:42This Weyland-Yutani spaceship has crashed into a Prodigy building.
03:46I'm part of a team that responds to the crisis.
03:49It turns out it's not just a rescue mission, that this is actually a very dangerous ship filled with these hostile creatures.
03:55And they go in unprepared for that.
03:57What I find interesting, I'm thinking about a show that's called Alien.
04:10If this thing over here is an alien, what does it mean to be human?
04:14The closer you sort of zoom into that question, the more complicated it becomes.
04:17Particularly in a world in which we're now able to create intelligence that's artificial.
04:21You wanna see a magic trick?
04:23Yeah.
04:26We have combined this story of humanity facing this existential threat, both from biological monsters and from synthetic artificial intelligence.
04:38Which always raises the question, does humanity deserve to survive?
04:41I want what's on that ship.
04:43This show, really, it's a character study.
04:46What does the pressure of having not just one alien, quite a few, what does that do to them as human beings?
04:52How do they behave?
04:53Brother, come on.
04:55You can't leave us like this.
04:56I'm not your brother.
04:58The show is huge and it's gonna be something people are gonna have to really sink their teeth into.
05:02This strange, exciting and scary world.
05:05I want the audience to feel everything.
05:07Dreading what's gonna come around the corner.
05:09Hair rising up on the back of the neck.
05:11You want to give the audience that feeling they got from the original alien.
05:16When you go to bed afterwards, it's very hard to sleep.
