00:00Welcome to ANS and the trailer is amazing and I'll start with a question and this question is for you Jekyll sir.
00:08In the event you were surprised when Tiger was there. So how much do you like surprise Tiger was there?
00:13It was emotional. Sorry, hello IANS guys.
00:17All my respect and love to everybody, my friends, my buddies, my colleague in here.
00:23First of all I want to say to my son, it feels good for me. It felt good for me.
00:34It felt good for me and it felt good for me. Anna has seen it from childhood and his friends.
00:40But I thought it was a nice gesture. What do I want to say to my son?
00:47Sunil sir, the same question is for you. Do you still like surprises?
00:52Absolutely. Absolutely.
00:54It is a very big thing for your son.
00:58Because you forget your happiness after a time.
01:02And you just want to get your children.
01:07Such a beautiful gesture. Very, very loving.
01:11And I am watching Tiger as a child.
01:15Literally as a little baby.
01:19So very, very beautiful.
01:21And today, professionally, it is a great thing.
01:25There is a very big star.
01:27You know, he is an action hero.
01:29He is an action hero.
01:31He is an action hero.
01:33So it is a great moment.
01:37Yeah.
01:38So you are there in second season.
01:40Finally season maybe.
01:41First or second season when you do the same series.
01:45As an actor, is there some conscious effort in your mind to bring little extra or to be little different in the second season?
01:53Very different.
01:54I am very different in it.
01:55The body language is different.
01:57The look is different.
01:59The emotions are different.
02:01Carefree, careless in Santha in the first.
02:06Here it is more about family.
02:09And that is his only objective.
02:11There is no other distraction or disturbance.
02:15There is disturbance but no other distraction in his life.
02:18He wants his daughter back and at any cost.
02:21And he will go to any lengths to get that happening.
02:24So I think that itself is a beautiful moment.
02:27You know.
02:29And like any father.
02:31My obsession.
02:32My obsession is Tia Nahan.
02:34And I don't think beyond.
02:36And that is the kind of father he is in this.
02:39And if I have done justice from that point of view.
02:42Of being able to bring out the emotion of a real father in it.
02:46I think I would have done justice to my role.
02:50Jacky sir, you are playing a villain in this.
02:52Of late we have seen all the leading 90 heroes.
02:56They do lot of villain roles.
02:58So first I want to understand your perspective.
03:00So does it happen consciously or does this kind of role attract you?
03:06Well after that, I'm a villain in this.
03:09I was the villain in this.
03:10We are hero who is left-hand an hero.
03:11And there is also a hero who was in the danger of the commissioner.
03:14He has kidnapped him.
03:16There is a villain in it.
03:17Yes.
03:18You are talking about hero.
03:19But that's why I am a hero.
03:21It was a kind of hero.
03:22Yes Swami Dada.
03:23Yes Swami Dada.
03:24Yes Swami Dada.
03:26The first was a hero.
03:27So this was a very good episode.
03:29In the beginning it was a great place.
03:30We are talking about hero.
03:31But Swami Dada?
03:32Yes Swami Dada.
03:34So I can just float around. I will do whatever I will do.
03:51The same question is for you Sunil. We have seen all leading 90 heroes. They are experimenting so much.
03:58Even now, I know what you are trying to say. I know what you are trying to say.
04:08Who can play negative? So, be bigger than the hero. Most of the time.
04:16You don't want to be bigger than the hero. You don't want to be bigger than the hero.
04:23And for a new hero, you need a mature actor. A mature actor. A mature actor.
04:32The image is so big that you can bring him down.
04:36So, when the films get bigger, thoughts change. And that's when you decide,
04:42Oh, I want to play negative. It depends on what kind of role also you are playing.
04:59Mere liye, may kabhi negative tha hai nai.
05:01Jou aapne beite ka body acha tha tha. Jou ec army ka aftar tha.
05:07O negative ka bhi ho kaisa saktata hai.
05:09Twitter pe aapki clip bhi baar bar viral ho jai.
05:12Is liye to hai na. Is liye akanwand actor ka ka ka ka ka ka ka, te ha ha.
05:15You know, you choose a role from Akalwandi.
05:18I said a villain in Dhadkand.
05:20I got a villain for me.
05:23But I was never a villain in that.
05:25I did it for my love.
05:27Every mother tells her daughter,
05:30marry the man who would love you probably ten times more than you would ever love him.
05:34So that was Dev.
05:36It was a vision for watching.
05:38You know, eyes and eyes are the thought.
05:43The eyes believe what it sees, but the mind believes what it believes
05:49and not necessarily what it sees.
05:51Perspective.
05:52Yeah, perspective.
05:53Anusha, the question is now for you.
05:55Obviously, I think everyone has asked that how was the experience,
05:58but I am going to ask,
05:59what is the earliest memory of watching Jackie Sir and Sunil Sir on screen?
06:05Well, can I be honest?
06:06Yeah.
06:07When I came to India and I started working for MTV,
06:10that's when my first experience with them because I got to meet them through that.
06:15So it wasn't through the films.
06:17It was getting to know them personally.
06:19So I was very lucky that I got to know them as people before I even knew them as big stars.
06:25And that was, I've kept that with me because every time I've ever met either of them in a social event,
06:32Jackie Sir always speaks to me in Marathi.
06:35And it's so, it's so wonderful and familiar.
06:39Like you can turn and you know he's talking exactly to me and I feel so nice.
06:43It's Dandekar.
06:44Yeah, every time.
06:45Dandekar.
06:46He'll say, Dandekar.
06:47And I'm like, it's Jackie Sir.
06:48I know.
06:49It's a lovely surname.
06:50Dandekar.
06:51And Sunil Sir has always greeted me with affection.
06:55Always.
06:56And so I won't see them for years.
06:58And then once I obviously knew I was going to be joining them, both of them, it was an honor.
07:04This is an action film.
07:05And you both are talking about action ever since you joined films.
07:11Recently there has been a lot of debate about how safe the action should be, the action scenes should be.
07:17And there's an incident happened in South.
07:20So what's your perspective, sir?
07:22Safety and what should we do?
07:24And should it be there, more, you know, initiative should be taken to ensure the stuntman.
07:30For sure.
07:31So we can't just do it.
07:32Be sure, we can't do it.
07:33We should do it.
07:34We should do it.
07:35And we should ensure that, bro, the work is doing together.
07:39You can't do it.
07:40You've put your hand in a pot or you went in water or you didn't have to hit a gun.
07:44There are so many things.
07:46There are so many things that you know who is.
07:49You know what we should do and what's happening here.
07:51You know what we should do.
07:52So even if you plan the best, that's why he said discipline and rehearse properly, then,
08:00Then your body and the mathematics that you need to go to that point, you need to go to that point, you need to go to that point.
08:11I want to understand what that is.
08:13I think first of all, the industry has to be looked as an industry.
08:17It's not.
08:18That status is very important.
08:20It's not an industry?
08:21No, we don't get the benefits of what all the other industries get.
08:26Insurance is very important.
08:29Training academies are very important for action.
08:34Stuntman's insurance especially.
08:37Action directors, licensed, certified action directors.
08:42Safety equipment is very important.
08:45To do it, because the film is released, change the film.
08:50When you do action, do everything at ease.
08:54You know?
08:55So, it's a small small thing.
08:56That's why it depends on the producer, the director depends on these things.
09:03So, I think these little little things, if we are conscious of, and I am very conscious when I action.
09:09Not for my safety, but for everyone's safety.
09:12I was just going to cut in there.
09:14Yeah.
09:15Very, very important for me.
09:16I will see them.
09:17So, I will say that, because it's my first action.
09:21And, I don't know about the rest of the crew.
09:24I am not disregarding their care.
09:26Because, you know, it's my first time, so I was just focusing on my shot.
09:30But, it was one man who was making sure everybody was safe in their shot.
09:35So, even if it was, he had to push me against the wall, he made sure there's thermacol.
09:40And, I'm like, no, no, no, I'll be fine.
09:41No, there'll be thermacol.
09:43So, he is so particular, that he won't allow the scene to start before he checks all the weapons that are going to be hit, like, on somebody or me.
09:54He was doing it for everybody.
09:56And, that, again, is a privilege to have somebody who's so big in action, still be concerned for everybody else.
10:03Thank you so much.
10:07Thank you so much.
