00:44is do i agree with how they would approach the cap i would be more proactive about signing my

00:51players sooner but i'm not going to argue with jerry and the success that he has or hasn't had

00:56like again if we go back to last off season it's very easy to say it now hindsight but i would have

01:00said it back then i was surprised that there were no conversations with dak in february about a new

01:07deal you know a couple months later jerry goff gets done at 52 million then there are more quarterbacks

01:12that get done and all of a sudden dax at 60 so if they had gotten jerry goff or they had gotten him

01:17done at the time of jerry goff right before right now it's 52 it's 53 so it costs him an extra seven

01:23by waiting what was the advantage of waiting i don't know maybe jerry liked everybody was talking

01:28about dak prescott also maybe he got seven million dollars worth of pr like that definitely could be

01:33the case uh but to me i would rather have signed him up early had that seven million dollars to go

01:38spend on derrick henry but i'm not going to argue with how they do things they jerry's unbelievable

02:08now in a deal we wish we wouldn't have made i i don't think that i think you know dak is still a top

02:14quarterback he's just got to stay healthy and if he's healthy then the value will be there and

02:21there'll be other quarterbacks that surpass him in no time at all and two three years from now that

02:2560 might just be a bargain
