00:00The
00:14protagonist of the show is an unusual girl named Wednesday Adams.
00:18Though just 13 years old, she rarely shows any emotion and has a strange fascination
00:23with death.
00:25She is also well known for her black and white gothic attire, which most people find odd.
00:31In the opening scene, Wednesday shows up at her high school wearing a chilling expression.
00:36Inside her locker, she discovers her brother, Pugsley, tied up with an apple stuffed in
00:41his mouth.
00:43As she take him out, Wednesday suddenly experiences a vision revealing who tormented him.
00:48It's revealed that Wednesday isn't an ordinary child, she has the ability to glimpse a person's
00:53past and future simply by touching them.
00:56After discovering that a group of bullies from the swim team is responsible.
01:01She storms into the swimming pool area carrying two bags filled with paranyas.
01:06She nonchalantly releases the bloodthirsty paranyas into the pool, and as the bullies scramble
01:11away in terror, Wednesday firmly establishes that no one is allowed to mess with her brother,
01:16except her.
01:18In the next scene, we meet Wednesday's parents, Morticia and Gomez, who tired of their daughters'
01:23constant antics, decide to enroll her in the prestigious Nevermore Academy.
01:28It turns out that every student at the academy possesses supernatural abilities and is taught
01:33how to harness and control them.
01:36Morticia and Gomez are also former students of Nevermore Academy, expecting that they possess
01:41supernatural abilities as well.
01:43Meanwhile, a hiker ventures alone through the woods near Nevermore Academy.
01:49Sadly, just moments later, an unknown creature ambushes and kills him.
01:54The local sheriff soon discovers the mutilated body and starts investigating the scene.
02:00Surprisingly, it's revealed that this brutal killing isn't an isolated case, several similar
02:05incidents have occurred recently.
02:07Later, Wednesday arrives at Nevermore Academy and is introduced to Principal Larissa Weems,
02:12the one who efficiently oversees the school.
02:16She introduces Wednesday to her new roommate, Enid, a werewolf who is the complete opposite
02:21of her in every possible way.
02:23Enid is a cheerful and grounded girl whose side of the room is decorated in bright colors,
02:28focusing sharply with Wednesday's preference for all things dark and gothic.
02:33Later on, Enid gives Wednesday an extensive tour of the academy, introducing her to the
02:38primary student cliques, the fangs, furs, stoners, and scales.
02:44The fangs are vampires, the furs are werewolves, the stoners are gorgons with snake-covered heads,
02:49and the scales are sirens who possess the power to control others.
02:54Enid also introduces her to the most popular student at Nevermore, Bianca Barkley, a stunning
02:59siren along with her ex-boyfriend Xavier Thorpe, a death artist who can bring his drawings to
03:04life.
03:05Meanwhile, as the Addams family drives away, Gomez secretly lets loose a severed living
03:10hand named Thing.
03:13Thing is assigned the responsibility of keeping an eye on their daughter.
03:17The next day, Wednesday attends fencing class, where she is matched up against the formidable
03:21Bianca.
03:23After an intense exchange, the match ends in a tie, prompting the girls to remove their
03:28masks and agree to duel until one of them draws blood.
03:32A fierce duel quickly ensues, with both girls equally skilled and determined.
03:37In the end, Bianca claims victory by landing a small cut on Wednesday's forehead.
03:42Later, as Wednesday leaves the infirmary after receiving treatment, a stone gargoyle nearly
03:48falls on her, narrowly missing her and almost causing a fatal accident.
03:53Fortunately, Xavier, the death artist, shows up just in time and push her to safety, saving
03:59her from being crushed.
04:00Soon after, Wednesday returns to her room feeling as though someone is watching her.
04:06She searches the room and eventually discovers Thing, the hand, hiding there.
04:12Understanding that her parents are behind it, Wednesday warns the hand to stay loyal to
04:15her, or she'll confine it to a drawer.
04:19Frightened, Thing promises to remain loyal.
04:22As a result of her piranha prank, Wednesday is required to attend mandatory therapy sessions.
04:29As a result, Principal Larissa drives her to her therapy session in Jericho, a quaint town
04:34located outside of Nevermore.
04:36She meets with her therapist but remains tight-lipped, not revealing anything.
04:41Instead, Wednesday has something else planned.
04:45She excuses herself to the restroom and makes her escape through the window.
04:49As she steps outside, Wednesday accidentally bumps into a man.
04:54In that moment, she experiences a vision of his death.
04:57Shaken, she quickly heads to a nearby coffee shop.
05:01There, she meets Tyler, the sheriff's son, who also works as a barista.
05:07At the moment, he's struggling with a malfunctioning espresso machine.
05:12The instructions on the machine are oddly written in Italian, but fortunately Wednesday is fluent.
05:18She quickly repairs it with ease and in exchange, requests a ride to the closest bus stop.
05:24Just as Tyler is about to respond, three bullies dressed in pilgrim outfits enter the cafe and
05:29begin mocking her.
05:31Wednesday initially tries to ignore them, but once she's had enough, she fights back and
05:36effortlessly takes them down.
05:38Soon after, Principal Larissa shows up at the cafe with the sheriff and sees the aftermath.
05:44Furious, she scolds Wednesday and promptly drives her back to the academy.
05:49As they drive back to the academy.
05:52They pass a horrific car accident revealing the victim to be the same man Wednesday had
05:56seen in her earlier vision.
05:58That night, under the full moon, Wednesday plays a haunting melody on her cello from the
06:03dorm balcony, accompanied by the distant howls of werewolves echoing through the night.
06:08However, Enid who is a werewolf, admits that she won't be joining the others because she's
06:13unable to transform into a wolf.
06:16Meanwhile, Thing shows up in Tyler's room and urges him to call Wednesday.
06:21Though startled, he agrees, and the two begin a video call.
06:25Wednesday invites Tyler to meet her at the harvest fair the next day, saying it will be
06:30fun though her real intention is to use the outing as a chance to sneak away from the academy.
06:35At the fair, Larissa keeps a close eye on Wednesday, but the goth teenager manages to slip away and
06:41meet up with Tyler.
06:43As Wednesday and Tyler are about to leave, Wednesday unexpectedly runs into one of her classmates, Rowan.
06:50He quickly bolts into the woods, and after touching him, Wednesday has a vision and she
06:55sees Rowan being brutally mauled to death by someone.
06:58Frightened, Wednesday decides to warn him and chases after Rowan.
07:03However, before she can speak, Rowan uses his telekinesis to lift her high up into a tree.
07:10He then confesses that his mother, a powerful seer, had a vision 25 years ago of Wednesday
07:17destroying Nevermore Academy.
07:19Therefore, Rowan is convinced he must eliminate her to prevent the foretold disaster.
07:25Just as Rowan begins to strangle her with his telekinesis, a monstrous creature suddenly
07:30appears, rips him to shreds, and disappears without a trace.
07:35Wednesday sits beside his mangled body and notices the illustration his mother had allegedly
07:39drawn of her.
07:41Shortly after, the sheriff and his team of officers begin searching for Rowan's body,
07:46but it is nowhere to be found.
07:48As anticipated, the sheriff dismisses Wednesday's claim of a monster attacking Rowan, insisting
07:54that the culprit must be a student from Nevermore.
07:57An officer interrupts their discussion, and to everyone's shock, Rowan appears alive and well.
08:03When Wednesday returns to the academy, she sees that her roommate, Enid, is completely absorbed
08:08in preparing for the Po Cup, an annual boat racing competition.
08:13Later, Wednesday attempts to speak with Rowan, but Principal Larissa tells her that he has
08:17been expelled for undisclosed reasons.
08:21As a backup plan, Wednesday instructs Thing to spy on Rowan.
08:25The scene then shifts to Rowan at the train station, unaware that Thing is stealthily trailing
08:30him.
08:32After scanning the area, Rowan slips into the restroom and secretly transforms his appearance
08:36into that of an elderly man.
08:38Unfortunately, Thing fails to notice the change and loses sight of him.
08:43Later, the old man transforms into Principal Larissa, revealing that she is actually a shapeshifter
08:49and is somehow involved in concealing Rowan's death.
08:53With no other options, Wednesday heads into the woods to search for clues about Rowan's supposed
08:57murder, accompanied by Tyler, who is secretly following his father.
09:03After some time, she discovers Rowan's glasses, and upon picking them up, she has a vision.
09:09In it, she sees a purple book that contained the drawing Rowan had.
09:13Without delay, Wednesday questions her teacher about the book.
09:17Who reveals it once belonged to an old student society known as the Nightshades.
09:23However, the society was disbanded long ago, later, Wednesday sneaks into Rowan's room after
09:28class to search for the book.
09:31She discovers a mask hidden under his bed, but before she can make her exit, Xavier walks
09:35in revealing that he's Rowan's roommate.
09:39Wednesday quickly hides beneath the bed, and just then, Bianca shows up to see her ex.
09:45While concealed, Wednesday overhears their conversation and discovers that Bianca intends to defeat Enid
09:50in the upcoming boat race competition.
09:53So, as soon as she gets back to her room, Wednesday decides to team up with Enid in the competition,
09:59determined to take Bianca down together.
10:02The following day, Wednesday and Enid prepare for the competition.
10:07Since there are no rules, anything goes and Bianca is making the most of it.
10:11There are four competing teams, and the objective is to row to a designated point and return.
10:17The first team to cross the finish line without being eliminated in the lake is crowned the
10:21winner.
10:23As the race kicks off, Bianca signals to one of her teammates, a mermaid, who dives into
10:28the water and sabotages a rival boat, eliminating that team from the competition.
10:34Fortunately, Wednesday and Enid are ready for the sabotage, and with Thing's assistance, they
10:39successfully capture the mermaid.
10:42During the competition, Wednesday experiences another vision.
10:46This time, she sees a blond-haired version of herself, who tells her that she is the key.
10:52Confused, Wednesday snaps back to reality and realizes that Bianca's team is ahead in the
10:57race.
10:59Refusing to back down, she and Enid decide to play dirty.
11:03They turn Bianca's own underhanded tactics against her and ultimately win the competition.
11:09With this victory, a non-siren team has triumphed in the prestigious event for the first time in
11:1440 years.
11:16Later, Principal Larissa honors the winning team, presenting Enid with the Poe Cup trophy.
11:21However, Wednesday, overwhelmed by the attention, seeks solace with the statue of Edgar Allan Poe,
11:28a former student of Nevermore Academy.
11:30Suddenly, she notices a symbol beneath the stone book Edgar Allan Poe is holding.
11:36It's the same symbol that was carved into the picture Rowan had given her before he was
11:40mauled to death.
11:42Wednesday quickly deciphers a series of riddles etched into the book and uncovers a clue, snapping
11:47twice.
11:49When she does, a secret corridor reveals itself, leading to a hidden chamber.
11:54In the hidden chamber, Wednesday discovers Rowan's book, the one from which he had torn the picture.
12:00She places the book in her backpack, but before she can proceed, someone suddenly shoves a black sack
12:06over her head.
12:08Soon after, when the sack is removed, Wednesday realizes she's surrounded by Bianca, Xavier,
12:13and several other students, all of whom are members of the Nightshades Club.
12:18It turns out that although the group was once disbanded, Principal Larissa secretly reinstated
12:23it.
12:24Xavier tries to convince Wednesday to join their group, but she firmly refuses and walks
12:29away.
12:30In the next scene, Principal Larissa announces the annual outreach day, where Nevermore students
12:36will be required to interact with normies by working at their establishments.
12:41After arriving in town, Wednesday informs Xavier that his roommate might have been murdered.
12:46However, Xavier disagrees, believing Rowan was simply expelled.
12:52Despite his doubts, Wednesday shows Xavier the drawing made by Rowan's mother.
12:57After examining it closely, Xavier identifies the man in the picture as Joseph Crackstone,
13:02the founder of Jericho.
13:04Later on, Wednesday chooses to volunteer at Pilgrim World, a historical site dedicated to
13:10Jericho's past.
13:11There, she runs into Eugene, a young boy she previously bonded with in the beekeeping club.
13:18The two quickly strike up a conversation and begin surveying the area.
13:23Before long, Miss Arlene, the caretaker of Pilgrim World, approaches them.
13:28She leads them on a tour, highlighting several of Joseph Crackstone's cherished artifacts.
13:34When Wednesday inquires further, she discovers they include original farming tools, tableware,
13:40and even the family chamber pot.
13:42She hopes to work there but is told it's under renovation.
13:46Instead, the students are assigned to the ye olde fudgery, where they'll be handing out
13:50fudge and cakes to visiting tourists.
13:53Later on, with Eugene's help, Wednesday sneaks into the Crackstone family chamber.
13:59There, she discovers a painting of the old meeting house that features the girl from her earlier
14:04vision.
14:05Soon after, she comes across the same book the girl was holding.
14:09But when Wednesday realizes the pages are empty, she begins to suspect it's a replica.
14:16At that moment, the caretaker, Arlene, shows up and catches her snooping.
14:20When Wednesday questions her about the original book, Arlene reluctantly admits it was stolen
14:25a month ago.
14:26Later, Wednesday meets up with Tyler at the coffee shop.
14:31She asks him about Joseph Crackstone, and Tyler tells her that the remains of the original
14:35meeting house can be found in the woods.
14:38The place is mostly in ruins and often used by meth addicts as a hangout spot.
14:44Without wasting time, Wednesday and Thing head into the woods to locate Joseph Crackstone's
14:49remains.
14:50They eventually find the site and encounter a homeless man, but Thing swiftly chokes him,
14:55causing him to flee in fear.
14:57Suddenly, Wednesday is hit with a vision that transports her 400 years into the past.
15:04She sees the same blonde girl from her earlier vision, surrounded by a group of villagers who
15:08accuse her of being the devil's spawn.
15:11Moments later, Joseph Crackstone steps forward from the crowd and addresses the girl as Goody
15:16Adams.
15:18He accuses her of witchcraft and sentences her to burn in a barn, where others labeled as
15:22witches among them.
15:24Her mother are already imprisoned.
15:27In response, Goody denounces them for seizing their land, murdering the innocent, and destroying
15:32their harmony.
15:35Infuriated, Joseph glares at her for a moment before setting the barn on fire.
15:40Goody attempts to rescue her mother, but all her efforts are futile.
15:44In the end, with no other options remaining, she manages to escape through a hidden trapdoor.
15:50Meanwhile, Wednesday witnesses everything unfold inside the barn.
15:55Goody rushes over to her and warns that Joseph won't stop his mission until every last one
15:59of them is dead.
16:01After the revelation, Wednesday snaps out of her vision and quickly explains everything
16:06to Thing.
16:07Just then, they spot the same monster that killed Rowan.
16:11Lurking behind them.
16:14Wednesday chases after the creature in the rain but struggles to keep up.
16:18She then begins following the footprints, which gradually shift into human-like tracks, revealing
16:23that the monster is, in fact, a person.
16:27At that moment, she bumps into Xavier and shares what she witnessed.
16:32He expresses interest in examining the tracks, but the rain has already erased them.
16:37The next day, everyone gathers in the town square for the unveiling of a new statue honoring
16:42Joseph Crackstone.
16:44Wednesday performs an instrumental version of Fleetwood Mac's Don't Stop with the Jericho
16:49Marching Band, while the mayor and Larissa present the statue.
16:53Chaos erupts when, following Wednesday's instructions, Thing sets the statue on fire.
16:59As people flee in panic, Wednesday stands with a look of vengeance in her eyes, playing her
17:04cello with intense focus.
17:06Later, Principal Larissa scolds Wednesday, accusing her of being responsible for the incident.
17:13However, Wednesday denies any involvement and instead challenges Larissa, accusing her
17:18of ignoring the violent, racist history upon which Jericho was built.
17:23Later that night, the homeless man from earlier is attacked by the monster, and his camera inadvertently
17:29captures the horrifying event.
17:31Soon after, the sheriff and his team arrive at the forest ruins, where they find the man
17:36dead.
17:37They find footage on his camera that could potentially identify the culprit.
17:42After developing the photos, the sheriff is horrified to see the face of the killer a monstrous
17:47figure straight out of a nightmare.
17:49And that's where the story ends.
18:03Now I would look here to say the story of the picture.
18:18I believe it was just an indication that to me.
18:19Here we go.
18:21It is not too late to leave the camera, but I don't know what to do.
18:23I don't know what to do.
18:25I'm just going to leave the camera and see something quick, through the camera, which
18:28says it will be done.
18:29So, let me show the story of the picture of my husband.
