16:09does chance know about this what's unclear as far as i know he's continuing with his investigation
16:20so this man has the audacity to create his own system of justice right that ends now okay

20:39friendship or loyalty hey hey i don't need two people being mad at me so early in the morning

20:54this no he made it clear that he didn't need my help and then he stormed out of here to confront kane on

23:45frames you for murder it's the only thing that makes sense right yeah what else could it be you know
23:52if not that what is all of this really is this just another trick is it part of some plan
24:01does he just like messing with our minds kane obviously has some agenda i just don't know what
24:08the hell it is he recently lost his father he even recently became wealthy maybe all of that
24:16pushed kane over the edge i don't know i mean he's cunning and shrewd he still could be dangerous
24:27but we have so many more people here on our side than kane does well that hasn't seemed to have helped
24:32us so far
24:40how is kane even able to detain nick and sharon what happened to due process no it's not legal
24:47definitely not in the states well i don't think it's legal in france either well anywhere really
24:52but it's kane's property he claims that his life is in danger that nick is a is a threat to him so
24:58he's doing everything he can to make himself and others safe that is ridiculous nick would never
25:05harm him or anyone else for that matter yeah but the evidence against nick would make any person paranoid
25:11even if it's planted yeah even then seems very convenient don't you think kane has an agenda it has
25:20to do with the newmans and now he's going after nicky and victor's son no kane did say he had plans and
25:28he previously implied that they would require my services well that explains why you're so adamant
25:35that we come here but what exactly does he want with you legal advice a little late for that isn't it
25:45he certainly skirted the law well stomped it out actually no no no kane won a chance here because
25:53he was afraid somebody would make an attempt on his life and now he claims somebody has is that a
26:00coincidence so kane's agenda with you what does that have to do with the murder or nick being framed
26:10i don't know but i have to wonder if this house arrest is a tactic with some other goal in mind
26:22so victor and audra have been scheming together with the aim to bring me down how could you do this
26:30i understand your relation with victor's incessant meddling no he wouldn't leave claire me alone he
26:34wasn't a deal with the devil i had to do something kyle you should have told me you should have told
26:39your mother we could have helped you would have tried to stop any involvement with victor right
26:44now is a mistake kyle after everything that happened with the sod we thought we'd gotten
26:49through to you oh no i know victor i know what i was doing i know the risk i was taking look nothing
26:55claire or i did made a difference to victor he wouldn't let up even after claire made an appeal to
27:02him i made a grand gesture at nikki's birthday party nothing worked claire was distraught over her
27:11grandfather's disapproval of us i knew it would destroy us i mean he already stopped us from moving in
27:16together kyle what did you do what was the offer you made him
27:23look i told victor that if i ever hurt or betray claire i would pay him five million dollars and leave
27:34genoa city for good oh kyle it's quite an offer and you put this in writing a legal contract that you
27:42signed you believed in it that much that you had with it hey i love claire i would never break her heart
27:50and you think that victor enlisted audra to try to seduce you to do just that no i know he did
27:59that's why i have to find victor i have to let him know that audra failed measurably and as a result
28:06victor did too whatever threats you make towards me will be unjustified victor
28:20you know who you're dealing with you made a huge mistake going after my family i've already
28:27explained to nicky i'm not the aggressor my son did not commit that murder you damn well know it
28:33you're using him and his lady friend sharon it's a bargaining chip to come after a chancellor

29:14made that very clear so maybe he's just holding us for leverage so he can get to nicky and victor and
29:22make some kind of a deal he brought me on the dad out here adam and vic are back in general city
29:29unreachable now i'm separated from my parents it all feels connected he claims to see you as some
29:36kind of threat see i think that's just a story if that was the case he could have just sent me home
29:41or locked himself up in his chateau instead he's walking around freely without any security
29:48this could be divide and conquer like what's going on in genoa city you know he's buying up all this real
29:53estate with us here out of reach kane really could intend to keep us here indefinitely there's got
30:02to be a way out of this by negotiation or force whatever it is i'm not going to let this go on much
30:08longer open up let us out oh god sure sure hey what is it
30:23nick's detention could really be about kane worried for his life if he actually thinks nick is a threat
30:29to him you don't believe that's true do you no it's not likely damien's murder probably has something
30:36to do with his relationship with lily oh there's a tie to chancellor kane wants chancellor therefore
30:45this last move on nick it's a manipulation to get exactly what he wants because i'm a hostage so he
30:51can bargain with the newmans it's so cruel but i i just don't understand how chancellor is like the big
30:59end game when he has his own empire i have a theory once upon a time kane was very close with jill
31:11and before colin died uh he supposedly reconciled with his father and you think there's a connection
31:18there colin could have learned things about chancellor from jill you know secrets information of value
31:27perhaps he passed these things on to kane so you think he knows something that's on the inside of
31:34chancellor which is intriguing but kind of unlikely i mean why wouldn't anybody else know about it
31:42whatever it is could have flown under the radar after all these years with all the leaders of chancellor
31:49hmm well kane was in charge too perhaps he didn't know anything even when he was
32:00so any idea what the secret to be
32:03hmm nothing yet and i could be wrong but there has to be something more to this situation
32:13why else would why else would kane be so fixated on gaining control of this one company
32:22kyle i understand your instinct to confront victor and claim victory now is not the time why not
32:30from our conversation with kane he thinks nicholas is responsible for damien's death what that
32:35doesn't make sense what problem would nick have with damien kane seems to think he was the intended
32:41target that damien was just a innocent bystander that he was caught in the line of fire the whole
32:47thing is tragic poor damien and his family his death never should have happened this whole trip is
32:54insane the whole thing's been a disaster maybe that's why nick and sharon were being led away
32:59kane had them locked up to protect himself from nick i've been thinking that as well victor is going
33:05to be furious when he realizes that kane took his son which is why i am telling you to steer clear of victor for

33:24you had to sacrifice damien's life to get what you want you both really think the worst of me don't

36:35but nick doesn't deserve this either and poor sharon's been through hell too many times
36:42is there anything you can do to help get nick and sharon released some sort of legal maneuver
36:48my hands are tied this is kane's private property the security is on his payroll so until the police
36:57or a judge intervenes he is the king of his domain he can do whatever the hell he wants
