00:00The program is a product for the community.
00:03With the guests, they have the audience who receive a contribution from their community.
00:05The world has an opportunity for students whose children have their own voice-in-chief.
00:12The guys will take care of their students with their original social media.
00:17Hi, my name is Charles, I'm the founder of Interclub Championship.
00:40So today we had our assessment day for Kung Kamai, so that's when we, fighters come and
00:46they register for the next event and then we test people's levels.
00:49So we're looking at their skill level, their fitness level and their strength and composure
00:55so that we can find a good matchup that's fair and challenging but safe as well.
01:00So we normally have about 10 or 11 fights at the events and we have a mix of local fighters
01:07from Cambodia and international fighters from all over, France, England, America, Spain,
01:14China, Korea, so it's quite an international event.
01:18Our event, the Interclub, is a little bit different to normal events or normal amateur events.
01:24We make sure that we assess every single fighter so we have a good idea of what their skill
01:29level is, their experience, their strength, their power.
01:32The main reason for this is for safety of the fighters.
01:37So this is an amateur event, an amateur promotion.
01:40So we try to look after the fighters and also we try to make fair matches so that it's safe
01:47and also competitive.
01:49One of the reasons we started is lots of people train kickboxing and Kung Kamai and they want
01:56to fight in the ring.
01:57But when they're fighting at professional standard, sometimes the level is too high for beginners.
02:04It's too high for amateurs.
02:06So when they come into their first fights, maybe you have someone with zero fights and
02:10they're fighting against someone with 20, 30, 60, 100 fights.
02:16When that happens, sometimes it's not fair and it can be a bit dangerous.
02:19Elbows, knees to the head, cuts, concussion.
02:22Then after that people, they don't want to fight again.
02:25So that's where the Interclub comes.
02:29Our design is about providing a step up towards the professional Kung Kamai leagues.
02:35If you want to make sure that there are two people who are fighting for Kung Kamai leagues,
02:41they will be able to fight against each other in the league and be able to fight against each other.
02:50So Interclub, we've been going for over three years now.
02:54We've done 12 events and the next event is number 13, Interclub 13, that'll be in September.
03:00So we'll be looking for competitors, fighters for Kung Kamai kickboxing and also Western boxing.
03:07Different weight categories, male and female, and different levels of experience.
03:13We have some fighters who are high level, very, very skillful and have some good experience,
03:19who want to be professional.
03:21And then we have other fighters who maybe they've been training for three months or four months, five months,
03:27and they just want to try and get in the ring.
03:30So because we have a lot of fighters and a lot of amateurs, we can match people by their experience
03:37and give everybody the opportunity to get in the ring and experience what it's like to fight in front of a crowd
03:45and have that challenge of pure martial arts.
03:50Okay, great. Yeah. So another reason for the Interclub is that it allows amateurs,
03:57amateur fighters to build their own record and build their own career and create a legacy for themselves.
04:05So we have a league system in place where we track everybody's results, three points for a win,
04:12one point for a draw, zero points for a loss.
04:14And when we have enough people in each category, then we work towards a championship.
04:19So for example, in September at Interclub 13, we're going to have our first 54 kg,
04:2754 kilogram Kung Kung Mai Championship.
04:30We've got a group of four amateur fighters, four talented amateur fighters,
04:36and they've all fought each other now.
04:38So in September, we'll have Chun Jin Lee against Chun Jin Lee from Kingdom Fight Gym
04:44against Yusong Kang from Monster Factory.
04:47They'll be fighting for the 54 kg Kung Kung Mai Championship belt.
04:52This is what we're going to do with our team, and this is what we're going to do with our team.
04:58This is what we're going to do with our team, and this is what we're going to do with our team.
