00:00Well, first of all, I mean, I wish him the best of health because I am, in a sense,

00:11saddened because I have a very good relationship with him. In fact, I know

00:15Dhankar Sahib for, what, 30-40 years. We have appeared with each other. We have appeared against

00:22each other in matters. And we have a bonhomie between us that is quite unique. And I always

00:29respected him and he always respected me. In fact, he has been to some family occasions of ours.

00:38And so I am saddened. And I hope that he is healthy and he has a long, long life. And I wish him well.

00:49We may have had differences in respect to our political views or on opinions. And I would

01:00very, very, I would say with, I would articulate my opinions and he would also respond.

01:11But at a personal level, we had, we were very, very, we had a very strong bond. And whenever I needed time

01:18to speak in the House, I met him personally in his chamber. And he never refused me

01:23and gave me a little more time than is otherwise available to independent members of parliament.

01:32The other thing about Dhankar is that he doesn't hold anything back.

01:37Whatever he feels, whatever is in his heart, he speaks with clarity. And it is his view of the

01:48constitution that he believes in, maybe contrary to other people's viewpoint. But he stood always by his

01:57viewpoint. So, I am sad that, that he has left us, you know, and I won't be seeing him in the house

02:06anymore. But for me, it's a sad occasion and I wish him well.
