00:00The minute Hope was born,

00:02everyone could see she was extra special.

00:06She had a hole in her shell

00:08right over her heart.

00:11Some people were afraid for Hope.

00:14But she kinda liked being one in a million.

00:19She just needed someone to give her extra help.

00:23She needed a rescuer.

00:25Mike's obsessed with taking care of water animals.

00:31He's a dad to this zebrafish,

00:35a rainbow-bellied pipefish,

00:38and so many turtles.

00:45So as soon as Mike heard about Little Hope,

00:48he knew he had to help her.

00:51But how do you take care of a turtle

00:53with a hole over her heart?

00:57Mike remade one of his regular turtle tanks

01:00so it was perfect for Hope.

01:03He used a special filter for her water,

01:06a heater to keep the temperature just right,

01:09and put in a log covered in moss

01:13so it couldn't hurt her heart.

01:15Mike wanted the little turtle to love it.

01:23But what would Hope think?

01:26When she arrived,

01:28he couldn't believe how tiny she was.

01:31She was barely bigger than a quarter.

01:35Mike was worried.

01:37But Hope wasn't worried at all.

01:39she might have had a hole over her heart,

01:42but she was brave.

01:44She swam around

01:48and chased after food,

01:56picked a favorite picnic spot,

02:01and liked to get her shell polished.

02:11Eventually, Mike stopped worrying.

02:14Because Hope was doing great.

02:17And then, the best thing happened.

02:27Hope started getting big.

02:34Until one day, she was kinda giant.

02:38The hole in her shell had grown with her.

02:46But it still didn't stop her from being her turtle self.

02:51Now, this one-in-a-million turtle is living her best life.

02:57A life full of fun.
