Playing in Washington an easy decision for Medvedev

Daniil Medvedev says his early exit from Wimbledon made it an easy decision to play the Washington Open

00:00Washington is usually an easy decision because it depends on Wimbledon. I guess

00:04if you lose something like third, fourth round or quarters it can be a bit tougher

00:08decision. But if you play really well like Sam is, just don't have much time, you

00:13want to try to prepare well and try to spend time with the family, maybe small

00:17vacation, so you don't come here, even if I love the

00:20tournament. When you lose first round it's an easy decision. I had time

00:24to have a week off, to go to Ibiza was the first time for me and it was

00:30really fun and a beautiful place. And then I had time to practice well and

00:33prepare the tournament, so I'm looking forward to it.
