00:00Scarloey and Reneas work on the railway that weaves round lakes and along mountain sides.
00:08Their coaches are filled with visitors and the engines are proud to run the line come rain or shine.
00:30The engines will never let their passengers down but they are old and they tire more easily.
00:39Their drivers understood this and they spoke kindly to them.
00:43There's more than enough work for both of you on this railway.
00:47The manager is sending two more engines to help us run the line.
00:52Scarloey and Reneas were pleased with this news and promised to give the new engines a big welcome.
01:00When Sir Handel and Peter Sam arrived they found they had much to learn.
01:07What a small shed, grunted Sir Handel. This won't do at all. We're much too good for this old shack.
01:16I think it's nice, said Peter Sam. Huh, replied Sir Handel. What's that rubbish?
01:23Shhh, said Peter Sam. That's Scarloey. He's famous.
01:29And then he whispered to Scarloey. I'm sorry, Scarloey. Sir Handel's upset now. But he's quite nice, really.
01:36Scarloey felt sorry for Peter Sam.
01:39Now, Sir Handel, said the fireman, I will get you ready for work.
01:44I'm tired. Let Peter Sam go. He'd love it. No, you're first.
01:52Sir Handel. Sir Handel puffed away to fetch his coaches. He didn't like the look of them at all.
02:01Whatever next? Those aren't coaches. They're cattle cars.
02:07Ooh, screamed the coaches. What a horrid engine!
02:12It's not what I'm used to, clanked Sir Handel.
02:17He rolled to the platform just as Gordon arrived.
02:29Hello. Who are you?
02:31I'm Gordon. Who are you?
02:33I'm Sir Handel. I've heard of you. You're an express engine.
02:38So am I. But I'm used to new coaches, not these cattle cars.
02:43Do you have new coaches? I see you do.
02:46We must have a chat. Sorry, I can't stop. We must keep time, you know.
02:52Gordon was speechless.
02:55The clouds of steam filled the air as Sir Handel huffed and puffed along the line.
03:10He was still cross when they reached the top station.
03:13Sir Handel was hoping for a rest, but his driver thought otherwise.
03:17We'll leave the coaches now and fetch some cars from the quarry.
03:21Cars, snorted Sir Handel. Cars. I won't. So there.
03:28Sir Handel was about to cause a great deal of trouble.
03:34Told you, said Sir Handel.
03:37By the time workmen came to rescue him, Sir Handel was feeling rather silly.
03:48To make matters worse, there stood Sir Topham Hatt.
03:52His message to Sir Handel was brief and blunt.
03:56I shall talk to you later.
03:58Then he and the fireman left with Peter Sam.
04:01Sir Handel felt sillier still.
04:04Come on, said his driver. Let's get you back on the rails.
04:12When Sir Handel crawled home, he found Sir Topham Hatt waiting for him.
04:17You're a very naughty engine.
04:20I hope I can trust you to behave when you next come out of this shed.
04:25After hearing that, I'm sure Sir Handel will, aren't you?
