00:00And always a reminder for myself and abdukul ajeezu, tayeefu, miskeenu, zalimu, jahal

00:15but for the grace of Allah's rahmah and mercy that we are still in existence and the

00:21immensity of Allah's gift of guidance in which to bring us to the gates of maghfirah,

00:29the gates of forgiveness and repentance in which is a salvation of the highest realm

00:36and the highest reality.

00:38And to grant the knowledges of these realities and these blessed souls and blessed events

00:45so that to further dress us from the treasures of paradise and beyond the levels of paradise

00:55into the Muhammadan heart and Muhammadan haqqaiqs.

01:01We pray that Allah to dress us and bless us with these infinite realities, infinite blessings

01:07that have no beginning and no end in their understanding and in their comprehension.

01:14As much as Allah take a soul the deeper it can go into these realities and immensity

01:21of that.

01:22That's the gift that Allah grants, ilmul laduni wa hikmati bil saliheen .

01:27Those whom were granted a knowledge and a wisdom they've been truly given the greatest

01:32gift that Allah can give.

01:35We pray that Allah grant us from those realities, dress us from those realities, bless us from

01:40these realities and that by virtue of our struggle in life that we are ambassadors of this reality.

01:49That when they encourage us to struggle not only because of what you want to achieve and

01:56stations that you may want to open and this is where most people want to struggle for themselves.

02:05They want to struggle for their ability to see things, to feel things, to accomplish something

02:12in spirituality and they begin to teach that that is an initial phase that everybody's

02:20natural desire is to want to achieve something.

02:27And the masters of this achievement they teach us by their example, Imam Hussain and all the

02:35Holy Companions and all the Ahlul Bayt they teach us by their example that some things and

02:42sometime in your life your faith will grow in which you begin to struggle no longer only

02:50for yourself but your struggle is for everything that you love.

02:58Everything that is held dear to you, you struggle for that and that the praying for yourself at

03:06some point became not so important as the praying for all those whom you love and have entered into

03:17your heart and that becomes dear to the Divinely Presence, that becomes dear to the reality

03:24of Sayyidina Muhammad ﷺ and they begin to inspire, that's why we gave you what we gave you.

03:34Is that when we give you something from the heavens we want you to distribute it by your good deeds

03:42and your good actions care for others care for your family care for your children pray for them sacrifice

03:51and achieve for all the souls that you love for Allah will accept your gift.

04:01Just like in dunya you achieve so that you can make money and as a result of money you spend

04:06it on your home and your children so they won't be hungry.

04:10They're reminding for akhira is more important that anytime we push ourselves that why you

04:16got to do more why got to do a little bit of this a little bit of that and the push is

04:21that it's not for you at some point you may feel full and satisfied and they're reminding

04:29no do for the ones whom Allah going to make weak in your life and you'll see them all around

04:34you so that as a reminder Allah said, do you see why everything around you is like weak

04:41like that?

04:42Because we want you to struggle for them.

04:47So Allah shows the deficiency, shows something's wrong, the sadness that you see that they're

04:53not going to achieve, I'm not going to see them.

05:16If you miss people in this world what about the oceans of eternity?

05:29That if you achieve something of a high status what are you going to do when those whom you

05:36love they love they didn't achieve.

05:42So these masters are teaching, what Allah gave to us by virtue of who we are Allah gave but

05:54they felt a pity for all those who will come after and their souls to be blessed their souls

06:03to be dressed, somebody has to care for those souls.

06:08So then they went more, they went the extra mile, they struggled harder, they gave immensely

06:16from themselves not because they were in need of it.

06:19That's why the stories that personalize it, it discredits everything.

06:27If you tell that story as if it's a personal nature and a personal vengeance and one-on-one,

06:32I'm going to get retribution and curse this one, no.

06:36The immensity of Imam Hussain is I didn't need it, I didn't need any of this difficulty.

06:44My station's set by virtue of whom my grandfather is, it's finished, my bread is in the food.

06:53But I went to impress him, I went to show my love for him because this is what he loved

07:00of his nation.

07:02And he didn't want to be embarrassed on the day of judgment.

07:05He said, what can I do for such a beloved soul that I love so much, I'll go and struggle

07:12more, a struggle which the earth hasn't seen that type of self-sacrifice.

07:19Until the day of judgment that story will be remembered.

07:25But we are the weak ones that love them and they inspire us.

07:30Next time you want to fast, fast an extra day for the people whom you love.

07:35Next time you pray, pray an extra prayer and give it as a gift for the souls of your children

07:41and those whom you love who they won't make where you're making, they won't reach to where

07:46you're reaching because the dunya becomes more and more difficult every day, more and more

07:51darker every day.

07:54And if they did better than you that was a big gift from Allah , but 99% is going

08:03to be the other direction.

08:05So, if you can do a little bit more they inspired, go that extra amount for the sake of those

08:13whom you love, for the sake of their descendants and the children that you have, the children's

08:19children that you haven't met yet.

08:21Means live a life in which you do more and live for others and service of Allah to the

08:29benefit of others.

08:31When the benefit for yourself is enough and you begin to live a life of service for the

08:36benefit of others, that becomes then the example of these great souls, the shaykhs, Ahlul

08:43Bayt, the holy companions.

08:46They try to live in that example of these holy examples.

08:50They live a life of service, live a life in which you can do a little bit more for the

08:55benefit of souls that love you and won't reach and that every time they pray, they

09:01pray Allah to accept their service, to accept their actions, to accept what they're doing

09:10Ya Rabbi and dress them and bless them.

09:14And that what makes the system so blessed because whatever we think we're giving as a gift to

09:21the souls of those whom we love, Allah infinitely multiplies that reality.

09:29That you're not going to outdo my divine generosity because I like your character and the way you

09:37think, the way you're giving of yourself and your amal and your actions, I multiply it beyond

09:42your imagination and that becomes the secret of everyone's struggle.

09:48If you struggle for yourself, you reach a point and you say, I'm okay, I don't need

09:52to do anymore, the beard is the length it's supposed to be, I got the image going, I got

09:58my zikr down.

10:00But then they push within your heart, no those whom you love they're not going to reach

10:03that, you still got to go, you still got to do, you still got to think of more ways

10:10to get the nazar and attention of Sayyidina Muhammad ﷺ.

10:15So one reminder for us tonight then is we do more every day, try to push and challenge

10:20ourselves to do more not only for ourselves but for those souls that we love.

10:26And we can't imagine a paradise without all those souls to be present and can't imagine

10:32that people to be in difficulty and we couldn't have done just a little bit more to have helped

10:38them so that they could have come along and they could have joined in that reality.

10:43There could have been another person who was brought to their attention that reality.

10:49So alhamdulillah gives us a reason and an immense push within our soul and our heart to continue

10:56struggling and people to struggle to do and do as much as they can for this love and for

11:02the attention of Allah , the attention of Sayyidina Muhammad ﷺ.

11:05InshaAllah Subhana rabbika rabbal izzati amma yasifoon wa salaamun al mursaleen wa alhamdulillahi
