Me Before You is a 2016 romantic drama film directed by Thea Sharrock, based on the novel by Jojo Moyes. The movie tells the story of Louisa Clark, a quirky and cheerful young woman who becomes a caregiver for Will Traynor, a wealthy banker who becomes paralyzed after a motorcycle accident.
Louisa, played by Emilia Clarke, takes a job caring for Will, played by Sam Claflin, hoping to bring some joy into his life. Despite their initial differences, they develop a strong bond, and Louisa tries to convince Will to live life to the fullest. However, Will has made the difficult decision to end his life through assisted suicide in Switzerland, and Louisa's efforts may not be enough to change his mind.
