00:00saquon barkley with a year to remember arguably one of the most valuable fantasy running backs

00:04we've seen in years but you know naturally with this kind of wear and tear on a player it does

00:10at least beg the question what happens the next year you're seeing his adp currently right now

00:16sit around three we've seen drafts where he's taken two there are some drafts where he is the

00:22number one overall pick and i think that's probably more likely than him sliding down

00:27george in any drafts it's usually either one two or three uh bijon robinson of the atlanta falcons

00:33is the one that i think that is you know sort of going neck and neck with him at two and three

00:37what do you make of the season that barkley had last year as he piled on the yards to get over

00:43two thousand and what can that look like this year well it's fantastic last year right he was

00:49utterly awesome all right he had the play of the year with that backwards uh jump over the linebacker

00:54all right that was fantastic i mean he was great and think of what he could have had or could have

00:58been if not for all the uh push uh tush pushes right uh the brotherly shove he would have had

01:03another half dozen touchdowns minimum you know uh the the fantasy season he could have had would

01:08have been would have been dynamic and by the way he could have had much more than two thousand five

01:12yards right there he sat out the what the second half of a giant game he could uh he was out of

01:17hands several other games as well i understand we could probably go back in time and these other

01:21running backs might have done the same thing but i'm just pointing out that his year could have

01:24been much better uh with different circumstances here so while he was great i'm assuming he'll be

01:30great again now you want to take jameer gibbs i don't have an issue with it but you know barkley

01:35yeah you're gonna lose the tush push the touchdowns gibbs okay got montgomery there so uh there is a sort

01:40of a you know a problem with both guys there you mentioned bajeon robinson in the dynasty league i play

01:45in uh with the uh a lot of the personalities from sirius xm uh i was shocked it's a dynasty league so

01:52it does change things a little bit but i was shocked and thrilled to get bajeon robinson at

01:55nine overall uh couldn't believe he lasted that i was i wasn't planning on he'll be gone by nine

02:02it's right other other issues other plans there and hey he lasted so uh people are something that

02:06still don't believe truly in bajeon robinson so uh you know jameer gibbs is an easy one here in the

02:14top five of every fantasy draft and i think for good reason and then we get to the fun part of

02:18fantasy football here in 2025 george the biggest questions are the two players that we're going to

02:24discuss all right so the raiders are back making the sexy picks right okay so they take ashton

02:30genti who's a first round pick in every fantasy football format we've seen a lot of rookies in

02:34their first year perform well george when you and i started playing fantasy football if there was a rookie

02:40it didn't matter the guy was not going in the first round no matter what you'd get him later

02:44you know you take edger and james or fred taylor i mean those guys are portis those guys were never

02:50taken in the first round because you just were worried that's not the case anymore and then you

02:55have christian mcafree who's still a first round pick in fantasy football and this is going to be the

03:02last time people are going to take that chance on mcafree but he's back yet again i mean is there a

03:08bigger talking point going into the season than mcafree again going into the year being a first

03:12round pick again i mean i gotta tell you you fall if i'm in that spot i may do it again george i mean

03:17i may take that shot again i'm just i mean look when he is healthy he's the number one pick in fantasy

03:22as good as barkley or anybody else but it's the health right george it's terrell davis all over again

03:28right it's like arian foster back when arian foster was a thing too larry johnson if you knew you were

03:34getting 14 15 games he'd be the number one pick once again that dynasty league i'm talking about

03:41here that's what once again this is a industry league of people who supposedly know what they're

03:45doing now this draft happened shortly after the nfl draft so it happened in may um i i got mcafree

03:51and i'm looking i was looking now where did i draft mcafree i got him in round six think about that

03:57that's 62nd overall uh two months ago you know so i'm not taking him around one i'm not uh it's not

04:06going to happen even his adp is 11 here it's a running back i get it but it's not just mcafree

04:11by the way the san fran office as a whole has issues here we talked about it earlier right iuke

04:16maybe at the end of september early october he plays here they traded debo samuel pierceau's on the

04:22pup list right now your number one wide receiver is jennings all right you still got kittle who's been

04:26great the offensive line is not what it used to be all right it's not that the lockdown where he's

04:31gonna have uh you know holes the size of uh to get mac trucks through so i do worry about mcafree a lot

04:38as i got around six let you know even i was passing up on him over and over and over again this is a

04:43major idp league so a lot of defensive players went in here so keep that in mind as well maybe he goes

04:47around four if uh if not for that but uh there's a lot of red this is what i'll say about mcafree is

04:54this if you draft him and he misses nine games with injury you have no one to blame but yourself
