00:00All right, Carolina Panthers wide receiver.
00:02His ADP, George, is 55.
00:07We're not seeing a ton of rookie love at wide receiver in fantasy this year.
00:12This kid was out of his mind in the first few games of the college football season last year.
00:16Ended up pretty good, but a lot of numbers in bunches,
00:20and I think that's what the Panthers are hoping for as well.
00:24Seems like there's some potential value here.
00:26What do you make of his ADP going into the 2025 season?
00:32I think I am very cautious with rookie wide receivers anyway,
00:36just after I was burned last year with Marvin Harrison,
00:38because I did take him to a league or two, and that didn't work out the way I wanted.
00:41And then it comes down to what do you believe as far as Bryce Young is concerned?
00:46He was good at the end of the last third of last year.
00:50He was good.
00:50Looked like he might be that guy.
00:52If you believe it, I'm okay.
00:53Then Ted could be that number one wide receiver.
00:55I'm a Cowboy fan.
00:56I did want the Cowboys to draft, Ted.
00:58I was disappointed when Carolina grabbed him.
00:59So I certainly think the talent is there.
01:02I just don't know about the team.
01:03They should be a run-first team.
01:05Not that they have great running backs, but Hubbard, you know,
01:07they signed Dowdled at the end, is there.
01:09There's no one really else there besides Ted, right?
01:12You got the veteran in Adam Thielen.
01:14Nobody really had a tight end unless you think Santa's going to be something.
01:17So this team's a major work in progress, all right?
01:20I don't think it's going to be a playoff team or anything like that.
01:22It could be a 500 team, which I don't think they can reach.
01:25So they should be trailing in a lot of games.
01:27But he's going to have to throw the football.
01:28I think there's an opportunity there, Craig.
01:30I just think when it comes time that he's on the board here in round six,
01:35that I'm going to say, you know what?
01:36There's this veteran here.
01:38And I know what he's going to do here.
01:40And I don't really need upside.
01:41I just need consistency.
01:42And I'm probably going to – me personally, I'm going to go that direction.
01:45Maybe when you're drafting, you want to take the upside guy,
01:49the guy who could be a league winner because he could go up for 95 catches,
01:5210 touchdowns, and 1,200 yards.
01:54And you want that guy.
01:54And I don't blame you for doing it.
01:56I just know for me personally, I'm more of a conservative drafter,
01:59and I'm probably going to go for the vet that's also going to be there.
02:03All right.
02:03Let's check in on the Tier 6 ADP.
02:05Well said by George.
02:07All right.
02:07So take some shots here is basically the idea.
02:10Chris Godwin back again with Tampa Bay, ADP in the 60s.
02:15Same with George Pickens of the Dallas Cowboys this year.
02:18Jalen Waddell, I mean, fair to say.
02:20Jalen Waddell's career been a little bit of a disappointment.
02:22George had a lot of high hopes for him.
02:24It's been a little up and down.
02:26And then there's Travis Hunter of the Jaguars,
02:28very hot name going into draft season.
02:31Calvin Ridley of the Titans.
02:32And, you know, I got to tell you, no one really thought we'd say this name.
02:36Jerry Judy with the Cleveland Browns,
02:38who is one player, George, who actually went to Cleveland and succeeded.
02:42You know, it's usually it's like guy goes to Cleveland.
02:45It's like, all right, that's the end of his career.
02:47But Judy definitely took a little bit of a next step.
02:50People thought he was kind of done in Denver.
02:52Turned out to be the opposite in Cleveland.
02:55It did.
02:56I'm not drafting him.
02:57Cleveland's a mess of quarterback.
02:59Flacco, Pickens, Sanders.
03:03No, no.
03:03Just say no, boys and girls.
03:06Just say no to Cleveland.
03:07Once again, when I say something like that, by the way,
03:09there comes a time in every draft where everybody has value.
03:12If he falls to a double-digit round, hey, we'll chat.
03:15But here his ADP is 72, which in a 12-team means you're at the end of round six.
03:20So I'm not going to do it.
03:21Not touching Ridley either.
03:23I think Tennessee might be one of the worst teams in football.
03:25So, no, I'll pass.
03:27They are going to be trailing, but I don't know what Cam Ward's going to do.
03:30Travis Hunter, I don't know how they're going to use this guy,
03:33see if Jacksonville could screw that up.
03:34This guy's got a terrific talent.
03:37I think they just use him on one side of the ball for the most part here,
03:40not make him a dual player.
03:41So, like Deion Sanders, you want to use him at wide receiver, fine.
03:44He's wide receiver for 90% of the game.
03:47Maybe he plays cornerback, you know, in the fourth quarter,
03:51a two-minute drill, whatever it might be, but not full-time.
03:53You can't be great at both doing that here.
03:55What you said about Jalen Waddell is true.
03:57Disappointment.
03:57If I don't trust Hill, I don't trust Waddell, so not doing that.
04:00George Pickens saw your wild card here.
04:03All right, he's not going to see double coverage anymore.
04:05He's not the guy.
04:06He's at C.D. Lamb here.
04:07So, we're going to like Pickens.
04:08Dallas should be trailing.
04:09Can him and Dak get on the same page here?
04:11And he's in a contract here.
04:13He wants those big bucks.
04:15He wants that $35 million contract.
04:17Got to put up numbers this year.
04:18Godwin should be fine, if not more than fine,
04:21assuming he can come back from that injury,
04:24which was pretty gross last year.
04:25I think that game versus Atlanta, I want to say.
04:27That was a pretty gross injury.
04:28Assuming he comes back, he was having a fantastic season last year.
04:32So, I'm not forgetting about Chris Godwin either.
