00:06I'm about to expose some of the craziest magic tricks ever.

00:09Not today!

00:10If you've ever wondered how magicians make things levitate,

00:13there are many ways, but this is one of the most popular.

00:16They have a circle of string around their arms

00:19and they place the object onto the string and it floats.

00:23It levitates like this, like magic, but it's not really magic.

00:26It's still impressive that somebody came up with this.

00:29Also, when they show you the object, there's no strings attached to it.

00:32So you're like, oh!

00:33You know those crazy knife-throwing tricks

00:35where like someone's on a board and she's spinning

00:37and they're throwing knives at her and it's like just missing her.

00:41And you're like, how could they risk her life?

00:43The magician is actually throwing the knives

00:45somewhere completely far away from her.

00:48And the knives are actually already on the back of the board

00:51and they're popping up by themselves.

00:53Just an illusion.

00:54So this guy's gonna blow some bubbles, right?

00:56Just some bubbles and then...

00:59And then...

01:01The bubble turns solid, but let me explain it to you.

01:04So he's secretly hiding a little plastic rubber ball in his hand

01:08and it's not really the bubble.

01:10It's just perfect timing.

01:11Amazing sleight of hand.

01:13Magicians are super talented.

01:15I don't have the coordination to pull up any of this stuff.

01:18Now this is one I've seen a lot, especially around touristy areas.

01:23So there'll be a man and he's sitting there and he's floating.

01:27So basically what he's sitting on is like a metal seat

01:30and then a pole that goes through his hand down to the floor and attaches over here.

01:36You see what I'm saying?

01:37The real magic here though is sitting there in the hot sun for hours

01:43because I don't know how they do it.

01:45I would be overheating so fast.

01:47If you've ever wondered how people walk on water,

01:50well as he's here to tell you,

01:51usually they have like a very clear platform that's slightly underneath the water

01:57and then the person runs over it.

01:59And if there is no platform, then obviously the person is Jesus.

02:05This next trick is performed by David Blaine.

02:07Basically, he'll show you his mouth.

02:09Look, it's empty.

02:10Ah!

02:11Two seconds later, he'll start spitting out frog after frog after frog.

02:16I'm free!

02:17The trick behind this is actually crazy.

02:20He has trained for months and months and months to be able to swallow a frog

02:26and keep it in his esophagus unharmed.

02:30And then when he's ready, he'll just regurgitate it out.

02:33That's disgusting.

02:34Like, what if a frog poops in your esophagus?

02:37Ever thought about that?

02:38But also pretty impressive, but also pretty disgusting.

02:41I don't think I want to become a magician after hearing this one, guys.

02:44And let's keep in mind that it's not just one frog, it's multiple of them.

02:47David Copperfield made the Statue of Liberty disappear.

02:51But he didn't really.

02:52Basically, they had a big screen that blocked the view

02:55and they had a stage that rotated.

02:57They slowly rotated the stage throughout the show,

03:01dropped the screen and made the Statue of Liberty disappear.

03:05And then they rotated it back and made it reappear.

03:09But they did it so slowly and masked it with the music

03:12that nobody noticed until now.

03:15It's been exposed before me, but like, now you guys know.

03:18This magic trick is pretty crazy.

03:20So basically...

03:21No one cared who I was until I put on the mask.

03:25There's this box with a lever.

03:26An assistant steps into the box and they push the lever

03:30and supposedly smush her.

03:32But not really, because there's magic behind it.

03:34So what they do is they put two screens in front of the doors.

03:38So normally there's a screen here, but for the video purpose

03:41we're not going to show that so that you guys can see how she hides.

03:44So it's a trap floor, enough to get her feet underneath.

03:48And then the back wall is like a rubber band.

03:51So she can like kind of push her body into it and like melt into the back.

03:57So you can see she's still in here, but she's hiding.

03:59And they crush her, crush her, but really she's hiding.

04:03In the back!

04:04Hiding in the back!

04:08So you think she's disappeared, but really she's just...

04:11Kind of actually being smushed, but like...

04:14I'm sure that's uncomfortable.

04:16Can you imagine how claustrophobic that must feel?

04:21Here we have a dentist tricking a little boy that he has a light on his hand.

04:27Whoa!

04:28But how does he do it?

04:29Oh, the light's on the other hand now.

04:43Now, I'm gonna tell you how this works, guys.

04:45In case you haven't already guessed.

04:47But he has a fake thumb on that has a light on it.

04:50And when he touches it, it lights up.

04:52That's why when he goes like this, it's lit.

04:54When he goes like this, it's not lit.

04:58This is the vanishing liquid trick.

05:00So you think the liquid is vanishing, but really there's a jug inside of the jug

05:05where the liquid ends up going into.

05:07Like that.

05:08And then it's hidden.

05:09And then he shows the newspaper and he's like,

05:10Look, there's no liquid here.

05:11It's not even wet.

05:12And you're like, where did the liquid go then?

05:14It's still in the jug.

05:15Like who comes up with these things?

05:16Remember Michael Jackson's famous lean?

05:19Well, he wasn't superhuman.

05:20He was just a very smart man who patented a shoe design.

05:24This is how it works.

05:25So he hooks himself onto the floor and then leans forward.

05:30I imagine this would like take some crazy ab strength to get yourself back up

05:34because how do you like lean all the way to the floor and just like lift yourself up?

05:38I don't get it.

05:39I need to try this, but also I can't because Michael Jackson owns the patent.

05:42Whoa, how'd they do that?

05:44Is she cut in half?

05:47So she has a hand here.

05:51Prove that she's in each of these boxes.

05:53Basically, this trick requires a very flexible assistant.

05:56It appears impossible, but really she's just squishing herself into all the boxes

06:01to look like she's separated, but really she's not.

06:04This looks hella uncomfortable.

06:06Like I hope these assistants get paid well because I'm not down for this.

06:18Now this is an old trick that you guys can do at home.

06:20All you need is a coin and a spoon.

06:23You hold the coin in your hands and you hold the spoon in the bottom of your hands.

06:27And then when you pretend you're bending the spoon,

06:29you show the top of the coin ever so slowly.

06:32And it looks like you're bending the spoon.

06:33And then with a sleight of hand, you hide the coin, show the spoon,

06:36and you're like, it's not bent.

06:38I'm going to put the coin and then go through the bottom into the water.

06:42Oh wow.

06:43Do you believe me?

06:46You going to put that?

06:47It's going to go in there?

06:49I'm going to put the water on top of it and it's going to go through the bottom into the water.

06:55No way.

06:56He's like, how?

06:57How are you going to do this?

07:37Every time you see a magician take a sword and shove it down their throat, it would make

07:41me scared.

07:42I'm like, is he going to hurt himself?

07:43That's dangerous.

07:44And guess what?

07:45It is dangerous and it's not magic.

07:47They legit put those swords down their throats.

07:50You could die.

07:51They've trained themselves to like open up their esophagus and the sword never actually

07:57even touches anything in their throat because they open it up.

08:01Still terrifying, guys.

08:03This is a lot of physical and psychological training that I can't understand.

08:07Also, who was the first person to figure this out?

08:09That's stupid.

08:11Literally the stupidest thing you could do.

08:13This is the head drop.

08:15It looks super silly, but basically they have a slit in their clothing that allows them

08:20to make it look like they're dropping their head, but really they not.

08:24They just doing a squat, training those glutes.

08:27He's going to be thick after all these squats.

08:30I mean head drops.

08:31Also like this video if I should do this for Halloween.

08:33This trick is a little goofy.

08:34Anyone standing near you can tell what's going on.

08:37You basically shove your finger through the cup and make it look like it's floating.

08:41This would only work like if I did it right now on video and you couldn't see every angle,

08:44but if you're with someone they're going to see that your thumb is in the cup.

08:52Next up we have James Moore's sword stabbing trick.

08:55Looks like he got stabbed by a sword, but don't worry.

08:57It's all a trick.

08:59So here's the trick in action.

09:01Looks kind of scary, but he is completely safe.

09:04Basically the way it works is he has a little harness around his waist that has a hole where the sword can like attach to.

09:12As you can see here.

09:13Basically he balances on the sword over there like that.

09:17I think that's pretty impressive he can do that in the first place.

09:20And then the harness has another sword tip that pops out of the front making it look like he went through the sword.

09:26Also, how do you make these things and how do you come up with these things?

09:28This is Darcy Oak's pigeon.

09:30Darcy Oak took a feather, lit it up and made a pigeon appear out of thin air.

09:37But really he used something called flash paper.

09:41Flash paper creates a big flash to distract everybody.

09:44And while the flash was going off, he had a secret compartment inside his sleeve where he had the pigeon.

09:49And then he quickly let out the pigeon like that.

09:53But like, how are you going to keep a pigeon in your sleep?

09:55Isn't the pigeon scared?

09:56Like, I don't know.

09:58I don't know.

09:59If I was a pigeon, I don't want to be no one's sleep.
