00:16Patna hospital, walked calmly without covering their faces, cocked their guns, took out their
00:21target and left just in time. A scene that looks straight out of a Mirzapur episode.
00:25Take the July 13 case. Abhishek, a manager at an ICSAI Lombard branch,
00:29left his home in one of Patna's busiest localities to attend a wedding with his family.
00:34He had asked his wife and children to go home, saying he would follow them later. However,
00:38a day later, his body was found in a well along with a scooter.
00:42And on July 4, a prominent businessman was gunned down at the gate of his home
00:45in an upscale Patna neighborhood, just a few hundred meters from the DM's residence and a
00:50police station. The shooter had patiently waited for Gopal Khemka to arrive and attack before the
00:54building's gate could be opened. To counter the crime wave, Bihar's ADGP suggested a fix.
00:59Residential societies should hire trained guards, claiming that the current guards
01:02looking after the security of residential societies are poorly paid and unfit.
