Gordon's Adam Toohey gives post-match address following 200th CHFL game

00:00Thanks everyone who's made an effort, people that have come down just to watch today.

00:05It means a lot, the footy club means a lot to me obviously.

00:09Wouldn't do it if it didn't, but all the accolades, all everything.

00:13The number one thing that's most important is team success and shows today.

00:18It's very easy, we could have just rolled out and not really given you stuff,

00:22but the love and the way we go about it is why I keep fronting up in the cold, snowy days.

00:29It's important, to everyone on the committee and the supporters,

00:33the reason I carry on like a full half the time is to get the supporters up and about,

00:38to G everyone up and to just have that fun.

00:42Footy clubs are really special places with all the mateship and that's why we do it.

00:47We're a brotherhood.

00:48I think, blasting out of Gerry's stats, I think one of the things was,

00:52I've played with a hundred, it's now 170 players in 200 games,

00:57which is pretty incredible, but eight of them I've played over a hundred games of footy with,

01:02which is like amazing to be able to call blokes that I've played footy with just lifelong friends.

01:10I've played probably a dozen with some of you and I would call you lifelong friends.

01:14So that's the special thing about Gordon and the special thing about the footy club.
