Transcript
00:00How is blood type determinated? In order to find out the blood type AB0 system, a well-known serum test is applied to red blood cells.
00:11If the serum contains antibody corresponding to antigen from eritrocytes, when agglutination occurs, eritrocytes form small clusters.
00:20For each group, the eritrocytes are agglutinated with a specific serum.
00:26The test serum for blood groups B3 or AB4 contains anti-B antibody. Test serum for blood type A2 or AB4 anti-A antibody. Blood type 01 does not agglutinate with any test serum.
