Jodhpur (Rajasthan): A controversy erupted after an alleged obscene video of Sadhvi Prem Baisa with Veerampuri Maharaj went viral on social media. Responding to the allegations, Baisa claimed the clip was doctored to malign her and blackmail her for ₹20 lakh.

In a video statement, Baisa explained that the clip, showing her hugging her father four years ago, was edited and misused. She said she had filed a complaint at Boranada police station in 2022, after which the accused were arrested. Despite this, the blackmail continued, with fresh threats to make the video viral if she didn’t pay.

After she refused to pay, the video was allegedly circulated. Baisa, calling the act an attack on Sanatan Sanskriti, said she is ready for an Agni Pariksha to prove her innocence.

Police confirmed receiving her complaints — first in 2022 and now again — and said three people have been named in the latest FIR. Inspector Shakeel Ahmed of Boranada police is investigating the case.
