00:36those uh uh swiss uh storages of gold which i mentioned uh previously it's hard to transport
00:46uh and so forth so cryptocurrencies uh like bitcoin they have uh definite finite supply
00:5621 million bitcoins for instance cannot be any more of them and it's easier to transfer therefore
01:03it's a tool it's it value comes from being a tool which facilitates economy but it facilitates

03:04updates as it relates to the trump administration and there are two more big pretty uh pretty big
03:10pieces of crypto crypto legislation getting a little tongue-tied here there are two major pieces of
03:16crypto legislation still making their way through congress that's something that we're going to be tracking
03:22as a congress and you know what i'm actually getting sidetracked here because i think i just saw some
03:29activity on this live camera in gaza and that is something we've been seeing uh the idf continuing
03:36its campaign this camera pointed at southern gaza you know i do see a vehicle moving through this shot so
03:44of course the middle east is something we always keep an eye on here every once in a while we do see
03:47explosions military activity as the idf continues its two main goals in gaza a to eliminate hamas and b
03:56to rescue the hostages both living and dead um sitting on the shot for a moment in case we see
04:04anything else but it looks like we might not so let's head to a commercial break we'll be right back

06:21Okay, so President Trump signed the crypto legislation earlier today, the Genius Act being signed in the White House.
06:27He gave some remarks as he did it.
06:29So let's listen in to what President Trump had to say about the crypto industry, the future of the industry, what the Genius Act aims to do.
06:36And of course, he takes some questions from reporters as well.
06:40This happened earlier today.
06:40Keep going.
06:47We worked hard.
06:48We worked hard.
06:51Thank you very much.
06:52Yeah, we worked hard.
07:02It's a very important act, the Genius Act.
07:05They named it after me, and I want to thank you.
07:08I want to thank you.
07:10This is a hell of an act.
07:12You know, I did something very unusual.
07:16I said, this has been something.
07:18It's been a lot of people thought it was impossible.
07:20Some of the things that have been done.
07:22And of course, the great big, I added the word great, the great big beautiful bill.
07:26That was something that nobody thought possible.
07:29They thought it would be in anywhere from seven to maybe three.
07:33I'll go the opposite direction, but three to seven different bills.
07:37And we said, let's just put it in one because this way there's something for everyone.
07:42And there really is.
07:42There's a lot of things for everyone.
07:44And when we get the word out how great that is for every single person in this country virtually.
07:52And all they have is a soundbite.
07:54Death, you know, their soundbite is death.
07:57Aren't they nice, death?
07:58They are the most incompetent people.
08:00They've lost their confidence.
08:02They've lost everything, if you think about it.
08:05But Jasmine Crockett is on her way.
08:08She's on her way.
08:10She's the new star of the Democrat Party, Jasmine Crockett.
08:14They're in big trouble.
08:16But I have to tell you, that was great, and this was great.
08:18And I am so tired of making phone calls at 2, 3, 4 o'clock in the morning.
08:23I'm getting calls from our great speaker.
08:26Sir, we have 12 hard no's.
08:29I say, Mike, Mike, it's 2 o'clock in the morning.
08:34We have 12 hard no's.
08:35The good news is I call up.
08:38Hello, Jim.
08:38How are you?
08:39Sir, you have my vote.
08:40Boom.
08:41Sir, you have my vote.
08:42I really just, they just want a little love.
08:45Unfortunately, it's always the same.
08:47It's always the same 12 people.
08:51It's five senators and it's 12 congressmen.
08:55And I actually said to John Thune and I said to Mike, I said, listen, I want to have a party,
09:06but not to those people that I have to speak to endlessly every time.
09:11And they're wonderful because they always seem to come through other than a couple.
09:16Rand Paul, Jr. from the Congress and Rand Paul from, you know, other than a few people.
09:21But I said, I want to have them over.
09:24We're going to have a party for everybody in Congress, everyone in Congress, except 12.
09:31We're going to have, and Mike is, I'll tell you what, Tom is definitely coming.
09:36The whole group, where are those 12 people?
09:38They're the only people I don't see.
09:39We could do it today.
09:40We don't have to vote.
09:42And I would say of the 53 senators, 48, we're going to have 48 in here.
09:48You won't even have to come to that one.
09:50But these are the greatest people because they always vote yes.
09:53And we don't have to go crazy.
09:56You trust us.
09:57We trust you.
09:58And it's been a very special group of people.
10:00We really do.
10:01I mean, 96% phenomenal and 4% extremely difficult.
10:07Do you agree with that?
10:08But they get there, most of them, not all of them.
10:11Those are the ones we really don't like.
10:14But I want to thank you all for being here.
10:15This is really a big day.
10:16This afternoon, we take a giant step to cement the American dominance of global finance and
10:23crypto technology as we sign the Landmark Genius Act into law.
10:29So congratulations to everybody.
10:31It is a big deal.
10:32You've come a long way since the Biden administration when they had no idea what you were all talking
10:39about, and half of you are under arrest for no reason whatsoever.
10:45True.
10:46For no reason.
10:48And we want to have it, not China.
10:49China wasn't actually happy.
10:51They were watching this.
10:52They like it.
10:53And we've got this.
10:55We've got AI.
10:57We've got a lot of great ones happening.
10:59And this is a very big thing.
11:00And I want to thank the bill's author, Senator Bill Haggerty, a very good friend of mine.
11:06Thank you, Bill.
11:07Thank you, Bill.
11:14He's a great guy.
11:16He's a great guy.
11:17He's a very handsome guy.
11:18He looks great.
11:19He's got the whole package.
11:20But, you know, I got to know him.
11:21He was ambassador to Japan.
11:23And we had a little problem with Japan on trade.
11:26But he was my ambassador to Japan.
11:29And I went to Japan.
11:30And he is speaking fluently Japanese.
11:34I said, did you learn it as a child?
11:36No, no.
11:36I just learned it over the last four or five months.
11:39I said, you learned Japanese.
11:40Maybe the single hardest language to learn.
11:43It's actually breathing rather than it's breathing.
11:47I'm not going to imitate it because we'll end up with a big story.
11:50And I don't want that.
11:53But he spoke totally fluent Japanese.
11:56I said, that's very impressive.
11:58And he was introducing me to Mr. Honda.
12:01I said, oh, are you in the car business?
12:04He goes, yes.
12:04I said, you're a very rich man.
12:06And then he said, Mr. Toyota, right?
12:09Toyota.
12:10And I said, what business are you in?
12:13Let me guess.
12:14He said, cars.
12:16He was my interpreter.
12:17And I was so impressed.
12:20And I was getting ready to leave.
12:21He said, sir, I'd like to run for the United States.
12:23I said, where are you from?
12:26He said, Tennessee.
12:27I said, well, I love Tennessee, but do they know you there?
12:31No, but if you endorse me, I'll win, right?
12:34And I endorsed him, and he took a 48-point lead.
12:37And they didn't know who the hell he was.
12:39And he's turned out to be a great senator.
12:42And now they all know who you are.
12:44Thank you, Mr. President.
12:45Yes, sir, you are.
12:46You're fantastic.
12:47And we thank you.
12:48And just the fact that you're doing this and you understand this is a complicated world.
12:52And you understand it, Bill.
12:53So you've been great.
12:54Thank you very much.
12:56We're also pleased to be joined by our great Vice President, J.D. Vance.
13:01J.D., thank you very much.
13:03Good job.
13:08And he's been up speaking late at night on the phone.
13:11I said, J.D., how about you taking three or four of these people, please?
13:15Because three or four I cannot speak to.
13:16I just can't.
13:18And he'd take them and he'd come through.
13:19Right, J.D.?
13:19Also, Speaker Mike Johnson.
13:24He is unbelievable.
13:27He's an unbelievable...
13:29I mean, if you go by what we're doing, if you keep up this pace, you can't keep it up for another 200 days.
13:37But I will tell you this.
13:38If you keep up this pace for another week, you go down as the greatest speaker in the House in history.
13:44So one more week.
13:46One more week.
13:47Who needs Tip O'Neill?
13:49Who needs Tip O'Neill?
13:50He's better looking than Tip O'Neill, too.
13:53But, uh...
13:54No, he's been going...
13:55He's been going at a fervent pace.
13:58Would you say that?
13:58Your wife probably says, you are crazy.
14:02You've been aging beautifully in front.
14:05He's an amazing...
14:06Actually, he's an amazing speaker, a great leader, and everybody likes him and respects him.
14:11And that's why we're...
14:12With a very small majority, like three, we had a time when we were one.
14:17Remember?
14:18We said we're one heart attack away from losing the House.
14:23Then we won a couple of seats and a couple of other...
14:25Now we have seven, maybe.
14:27Maybe if we're lucky, seven.
14:29But we win with...
14:30Nobody's ever done...
14:31I don't think anyone's ever done this before.
14:33To win with those small...
14:35We had a little help from Tom, too, right?
14:37And a lot of other people.
14:38I want to introduce also Secretary Howard Lutnik, who's been fantastic.
14:43You have done a great job, Howard.
