00:04He was 4-2 with the Steelers, and then I just don't think Tomlin liked him.
00:09Yeah, listen, I'm really excited about Justin Fields with the Jets, right?
00:12First of all, he brings that dual threat that really all the great teams have right now,
00:16whether it's Lamar, Josh Allen, Jalen Hurts.
00:18You need that dual threat ability from the quarterback position, the ability to run.
00:22And he really is second to none with being able to run, right?
00:25You saw it in Pittsburgh, Scotty.
00:26He went 4-2.
00:28He took care of the ball.
00:29He only had two turnovers in those six games.
00:32And quite frankly, now with the Jets, he's going to have a better offensive line
00:36than he has had in a long time, especially since when he was in Chicago.
00:40He's going to have his boy who just got the bag, Garrett Wilson,
00:43who was his number one wide receiver at Ohio State.
00:47And what I think is important, Scott, you talked about it.
00:50This organization, unlike Pittsburgh, unlike Chicago, believes in him.
00:54They didn't draft the quarterback.
00:55They didn't sign a quarterback.
00:56They're giving him the keys to the car.
00:59And there have been a number of examples, I think, over the last few years of quarterbacks in a second act with an organization that does believe at them.
01:06Baker Mayfield winning division titles.
01:08Jared Goff going to NFC championship games and winning division titles.
01:11And I think Justin Fields can do that.
01:14And quite frankly, they are above average on the offensive line, at the running back position, on defense.
01:19If you believe Justin Fields can take a step forward, there is reason to believe that the Jets could really turn this around under Aaron Glenn,
01:27similar to what we saw Dan Campbell do in Detroit.
01:29He's a great athlete, and I never thought Russell Wilson was anything more than an older, washed quarterback.
01:37He was as slow as a mule in the pocket.
01:40He got sacked every time he dropped back.
01:42If he had to run, he was dead meat.
01:44That didn't happen with Justin Fields.
01:47I think it's going to be exciting.
01:48Were you shocked at the money that they gave Wilson and Sauce?
01:54So, no, not for Sauce.
01:57I mean, by all accounts, he is the number one cover cornerback in the NFL.
02:01All the PFF grades, the forced incompletions, the yards per coverage snap.
02:06I thought it was interesting that he went literally $0.1 million above Derek Stingley, who signed earlier in the offseason.
02:13Garrett Wilson, it averages out to, I think, $32.5 million.
02:17And that puts him, I think, fifth or sixth in wide receivers.
02:19I think Garrett Wilson has been under-respected as an alpha wide receiver.
02:24I mean, the man has had great stats in his first three years, and he's been doing it with Zach Wilson and Mike White and Tim Boyle throwing in the ball, for goodness sakes.
