The Most Interesting Olympic Barbell??

The LaLanne/Legacy/Medallion Olympic sets have been around for decades, and their bars with  grooved sleeves & spin on collars definitely catch everyone's eye. I bought this bar & collars years ago specifically for Steinborn Lifts. I mean, what could beat a screw on collar to hold the plates in place when tipping the bar? How 'bout one on EACH SIDE of the plates?? Seriously, how cool is this set-up? Maybe if Steinborns becomes popular enough, this design will come back? Would be cool! God Bless! 00:38to really make sure everything's tight for those Steinborn lifts or for whatever lift you want,

00:44when's the last time you've seen a barbell that you could tighten it from both sides of the plate?
