00:00We're sure it's not a plane because it could be a plane. No, it's me, David Cornswet, playing your new Superman.
00:12I just want to say congratulations to both of you. Your performances, the first 30 minutes of the preview is something I would like to describe as super califragilisticexpialidocious.
00:24Woah!
00:25That's a no.
00:26Give yourself a little.
00:27In effect, you illegally entered a country.
00:30This is how you're gonna be?
00:31I'm not the one being interviewed, Superman.
00:34Training to be Superman is not just about lifting weights. It's about lifting your meals as well.
00:39Duh. Were there any, like, weird meal prep combo that you had to down?
00:45Or maybe a food or ingredient that you would never ever want to see or eat again?
00:50Well, there was nothing. You can't eat anything that you're gonna get tired of
00:53because you just have to keep eating day after day, hour after hour, day after day for months and months.
00:57So what I ate was eggs and oatmeal for breakfast. A lot of them.
01:02I had two 1,200-calorie shakes a day, which I don't recommend.
01:06And a full 32-ounce container of Greek yogurt for a bedtime snack.
01:18Every day.
01:19But with that breakfast we had, we were ordering, like, four plates of eggs.
01:23And I was like, man, that's amazing. I mean, it was amazing.
01:26And then we didn't see each other for a couple months and then you were twice the same.
01:29Yeah, it really happened very quickly.
01:31Yeah, you worked really hard.
01:32And also the Malaysians would like to know if there will ever be a chance of monster invasion
01:38and disruption of the peas in Malaysia and possibly can we have Superman to save us?
01:44I would hope so. I think that if there is giant monsters in Malaysia or any sort of problem,
01:50that Superman would show up and I would love a trip to Malaysia.
01:54Maybe I'll come and shoot in Malaysia and have that excuse to, yeah, this is the nice journalist of Malaysia.
02:01People were going to die!
02:04I mean, this marks a fresh start for many fans.
02:07Now, as Lewis and Clark, like, is there a pressure carrying this legacy moving forward into this whole new chapter
02:15for many, many, many coming years for yourself?
02:18Do you feel pressure?
02:19You feel pressure?
02:20No, I do.
02:21It's a really nice kind of pressure.
02:23I mean, how lucky would we be if we got to keep playing these characters?
02:27I hope that it's many years.
02:29We're taking the mantle from some of the best to ever do it
02:32and it's a real privilege and definitely we feel the weight of the responsibility.
02:36And it's, but these kinds of movies can be like, you know, soul-sucking endeavors.
02:40You know, then you hear stories about these big, you know, tentpole films and especially with IP like this.
02:45It was a surprise to me and the most welcome one to have the feeling of making a movie with your friends,
02:51you know, in the backyard.
02:52That's how James runs his set.
02:54That's how he thinks about movies.
02:55He wants to make movies.
02:56We're looking forward to coming back and getting to make more if we get to,
02:59because it was just, it's such a great family to get back together and make another.
03:03Was it an easy pick and deciding your Clark Kent and also Lois Lane?
03:07It wasn't the hardest.
03:09It was harder finding Lex in a way because I couldn't figure out what I was going to do.
03:13Clark was, it was difficult because I had to be sure, you know, but I, but David was the second audition I saw.
03:20Second audition?
03:21He was the second audition I saw.
03:23I had seen him in my friend Ty West movie, Pearl.
03:27Great movie.
03:28And I thought, oh, this guy could be pretty good.
03:30I see.
03:31What's your first choice as well?
03:32Yeah.
03:33Because you said you knew when you saw him.
03:34He was like, I knew he looked like Superman.
03:36I knew he was a good actor from Pearl.
03:38I didn't know he could handle the playfulness or humor of Superman.
03:42And then I saw his audition.
03:43I'm like, oh my God, this guy gets it.
03:45Like he really gets it.
03:46Luther is going to hurt people.
03:48I have to stop him.
04:16I have to stop him.
04:17I have to stop him.
04:18I have to stop him.
04:19I have to stop him.
04:20I have to stop him.
04:21I have to stop him.
04:22I have to stop him.
04:23I have to stop him.
04:24I have to stop him.
04:25I have to stop him.
04:26I have to stop him.
04:27I have to stop him.
04:28I have to stop him.
04:29I have to stop him.
04:30I have to stop him.
04:31I have to stop him.
04:32I have to stop him.
04:33I have to stop him.
04:34I have to stop him.
04:35I have to stop him.
04:36I have to stop him.
04:37I have to stop him.
04:38I have to stop him.
04:39I have to stop him.
04:40I have to stop him.
04:41I have to stop him.
04:42I have to stop him.
