00:00There is one thing that all the richest people in the world have in common when it comes to
00:04their morning habits. And this one thing has been keeping them from doing this one thing.
00:08Billionaires like Elon Musk, Oprah Winfrey, Howard Schultz, Jeff Weiner, Anna Wintour,
00:14and even the late Steve Jobs. In fact, there's a direct correlation between how early you wake up,
00:20how successful you become. In fact, studies show that high achievers are four times more
00:25likely to wake up at 5am than low achievers. But why? Why is it that the top 1% of the population
00:32wakes up so much earlier than everyone else? Well, because they know something that most people
00:37don't. They know that there is one thing that we should all be avoiding first thing in the morning,
00:42and that one thing is our phone. It seems harmless, right? A quick scroll through TikTok or Instagram
00:47or a quick check of our email. What could possibly go wrong with that? But here's the truth. When we
00:53pick up our phone in the morning, it hijacks our brain. Our day becomes reactive rather than
00:58proactive. We spend the majority of our day putting out fires instead of working on the things that
01:03really matter. So if you want to win the game of life, you must first win your morning. You must
01:08reclaim your mind from the distractions of the modern world and spend your mornings on things that make
01:13you feel good, things that help you think clearly, move your body, feed your mind, and fuel your soul.
01:19You see, when you wake up in the morning, there's a war going on inside your head.
01:24There's a battle between your higher self and your lower self, between who you want to be and who you
01:30don't want to be, between the life you dream of living and the life you're settling for.
01:34And your morning routine is where the war is won or lost. If you spend your mornings feeding your
01:40lower self, well, then you're going to live a life that you resent. You're going to spend your days
01:45chasing the carrot of dopamine, of pleasure, of comfort, only to find yourself tired, burned out,
01:52and unfulfilled. But if you feed your higher self, well, then you can reach your fullest potential
01:57and live a life that you're proud of. That's the big question. Which side are you going to choose?
02:02Are you going to feed your higher self or your lower self? It's up to you. So let me share with
02:07you exactly what all the billionaires do first thing in the morning. And by the end of this video,
02:12I want you to decide whether you re-going to keep picking up your phone first thing in the morning
02:16or if you re-going to start feeding your higher self. Step number one, turn off your phone.
02:22This may seem like the hardest step, but trust me, it's also the most important step. As soon as your
02:28eyes open, the first thing you should do is turn off your phone. Out of sight, out of mind, put your
02:33phone on airplane mode. Don't pick it up unless it's an emergency. Make it less accessible than the
02:39toothbrush in your bathroom. You see, every morning when we wake up, we have this incredible
02:44opportunity to start fresh, to set the tone for the day ahead. But what if you started your day by
02:50checking your email, checking your text messages, checking your social media accounts? What if you
02:55started your day by seeing what other people are doing, by seeing what other people are saying about
03:00you, by seeing what other people are posting? You'd be starting your day focused on everyone else,
03:05not on yourself. You'd be starting your day reactive, not proactive. You'd be letting everyone
03:10else dictate how you feel, how you think, what you do, instead of being in control of your own life.
03:17And let me tell you something, once you let go of your phone, it will never be the same again.
03:22Your phone will no longer control you. You will control your phone. Once you realize this,
03:27that you're not a slave to your phone, but that you're the master of your phone,
03:30you will never look back. Trust me, it's one of the best decisions you can ever make.
03:36Number two, drink a glass of water. Drinking a glass of water first thing in the morning
03:40does amazing things for your body and your mind. It helps you wake up. It flushes out toxins.
03:47It helps you think more clearly. And it gives you energy. Here's a fun fact, 75% of Americans are
03:53chronically dehydrated. That means they don't drink enough water throughout the day. And it's no wonder
03:58why. Water is boring. It doesn't taste good. And it's hard to drink enough of it. But if you want
04:03to feel better, if you want to think better, if you want to perform better, then you need to start
04:08drinking more water. The key is to make it easy, to make it tasty, and to make it a habit.
04:14Personally, I love to drink lemon water first thing in the morning. Lemon water is not only delicious,
04:20but it's also packed with nutrients. The vitamin C in lemons is essential for the immune system.
04:25The citric acid helps with digestion. And the antioxidants in lemons help protect against
04:30cancer. So start your day with a glass of lemon water. It'll wake you up, it'll flush out toxins,
04:36and it'll give you energy. Step 3. Read
04:38Reading is one of the most powerful habits you can develop, but it's also one of the most
04:43underrated habits. Most people don't read, yet everyone wants to be successful. How does that
04:49make sense? It's like wanting to win the lottery without buying a ticket. Let me put it this way.
04:54Every book you read puts 100 new ideas into your mind. Take 10 good ideas and apply them to your
05:01life, and you've already made 10 times return on your investment. The problem is that most people
05:06don't read. They don't read because they're lazy. They don't read because they don't know what to
05:11read. They don't read because they don't have time. But let me tell you something. If you want to be
05:16successful, if you want to achieve your dreams, then you must read. Reading is how you learn new skills.
05:22Reading is how you get ahead of the competition. Reading is how you win. So what should you read?
05:27I recommend reading two types of books. First, read books that teach you new skills. These are
05:33books like How to Win Friends and Influence People, The Seven Habits of Highly Effective People,
05:38Think and Grow Rich. These are books that teach you how to be better at what you do, whether it's sales,
05:44marketing, finance, relationships, or anything else. Second, read books that inspire you. These are books
05:51like Can't Hurt Me by David Goggins, The Obstacle is the Way by Ryan Holiday, The 48 Laws of Power by
05:57Robert Greene. These are books that motivate you, that push you to be better, that remind you of what
06:03you're capable of. Step 4. Think
06:05Thinking is one of the most underrated superpowers we have as humans, but most people don't use it.
06:11They don't use it because they're too busy, because they're too distracted, because they don't know how.
06:16But let me tell you something. Thinking is one of the most powerful tools you have.
06:21It allows you to plan, to strategize, to visualize, to manifest. It allows you to get ahead of the
06:27competition. It allows you to win. So how should you think? I recommend using the morning to do
06:32three types of thinking. First, do some gratitude journaling. Write down five things you're grateful
06:38for every morning. This will help you focus on the positive, on the good stuff. And it will help
06:43you set a positive tone for the day ahead. Second, do some goal setting. Visualize your
06:48goals. Think about what you want to achieve. This will help you stay focused, on track, and
06:53motivated. Third, do some creative thinking. Come up with new ideas. Brainstorm solutions to
06:59problems. This will help you be more innovative, more productive, and more successful.
07:04Number five, move. Moving your body is one of the most important things you can do for your
07:09health and your happiness. It improves your mood, it boosts your energy, it makes you more focused,
07:15and it helps you think more clearly. But most people don't move their bodies. They don't move
07:20because they're too busy, because they're too distracted, because they don't know where to
07:24start. But let me tell you something. Moving your body is one of the best investments you can make.
07:29It's one of the most powerful habits you can develop. So how should you move your body?
07:34I recommend doing three types of movement. First, do some cardio. This could be running,
07:39swimming, biking, whatever gets your heart rate up. Cardio is important because it improves your
07:45cardiovascular health. It burns calories, and it releases endorphins. Second, do some strength
07:51training. This could be lifting weights, doing bodyweight exercises like push-ups and pull-ups,
07:56or even just walking up a flight of stairs. Strength training is important because it builds muscle,
08:02it increases metabolism, and it improves bone health. Third, do some yoga or stretching. This could
08:08be sun salutations, warrior poses, or simply stretching out your arms and legs. Yoga and
08:14stretching are important because they increase flexibility, reduce stress, and improve balance.
08:19That's it for the five things all the billionaires do in the morning. Now it's up to you. Are you going
08:24to keep picking up your phone first thing in the morning, or are you going to start feeding your
08:28higher self? Remember, your morning routine is where the war is won or lost. It's where the life you
08:34dream of living is planned. So choose wisely. If you enjoyed this video, please give it a thumbs up.
