Lionel Boyce opens up about how working with Will Poulter's character on "The Bear" has impacted his character, going on two seasons now.
Transcript
00:00Your character's episode in Copenhagen in season two is, like, my favorite episode of the show.
00:05Will showed up in season four.
00:07I was wondering if, like, you guys got a chance to catch up when he showed up
00:12and how Marcus's experience in Copenhagen still impacts his work, like, two seasons later.
00:18Yeah, I think this, like, especially a lot with this season is, with Marcus,
00:23you're seeing him get back on the right track in terms of, like, finding a way to be productive,
00:31time efficient, and, like, balance creativity as he's, like, now.
00:35Like, you know, life happened at the end of season two, and, like, he was dealing with that season three,
00:39so now he's, like, getting back to, like, a kind of return to form through this experience.
00:44And the things that he's making, he's finding an outlet of expression for everything that he's been through.
00:49And it's at a higher level because his skill set is now reaching closer to his imagination.
00:57So I think you're seeing all the things that have influenced his life to the point he's at,
01:02and the result is these desserts that he's creating.
01:04So definitely you see all those encounters and conversations with Will's character in Copenhagen
01:09and all that stuff is just rolled into some of these desserts.
01:12It's definitely there.
