00:12As we're then introduced to John

00:13The loner with no friends and family

00:16Now when's the last time you went to a restaurant seeing a kid impersonating as a chicken?

00:19They should have added babies crying and kids throwing a tantrum in the restaurant to make this scene more realistic

01:14And when they're sent to the middle of nowhere, a mysterious figure saves them who happens to be Garfield's dad

01:25As we're introduced to the villain named Jinx

01:27Secret life of pets looking ass

01:28If Lizzo was a cat looking ass

01:29This is a villain nobody asked for by the way

01:31And now we're gonna hear our backstory that she's a cloud chaser with no talent

01:34So she was unable to get the attention and validation she desperately wanted

01:37You suck!

01:40So she's depressed, sad and hungry

01:41And that's when Garfield's dad Vic lets her join the crew

01:43So one day when they're stealing milk

01:45And Jinx knew exactly what she signed up for by the way

01:47She drops the milk and she decides to pick it up

01:49Like you could've just kept running

01:50But no, she gets caught

01:52And gets sent to the pound then blames it all on Vic when it was 100% her own fault

01:55And cause nobody wanted her she never got adopted

01:57So instead she used the foreskin of them dogs to break out of prison

01:59So her villain origin story is that she dropped the milk then blamed everything onto somebody else

02:04So she's like Vic cause it's all your fault you need to steal milk for me

02:09This was exactly my reaction when I realized the rest of this film would be about stealing milk

02:22Remember when villains actually had a backstory you could look at and say

02:27So Jinx forces Garfield to cooperate with his dad to steal milk

02:30So father and son is reunited for a lame ass adventure

02:43Another disappointing part of the film is that it just wasn't funny as the film relies a lot of scenes around comedy

02:47But because the jokes didn't land I thought maybe it's cause I'm a lot older now

02:50So I watched my favorite Garfield film again that I enjoyed a lot as a kid and I still found it pretty funny and entertaining

03:28And has meatballs which is beef

03:29Bro loves to eat cows all the time and he's like

03:39And Garfield and his dad sort of trained but not really

04:26And sent to the pound which was a real plan the whole time

04:35And is now targeting any trespasser

04:40I think what makes Garfield so appealing is that he's relatable

04:43Chilling on the couch watching TV all day and eating Italian food is something everyone enjoys and can relate to

04:47So no offense to cows but I don't think anyone can relate to wanting to steal milk or rescuing a cow

04:53Unless you're from Peter

04:54I'd much rather watch Garfield go to an all-you-can-eat buffet and see him eat a whole cow in under 20 minutes

04:58Anyway the officer ends up finding them

05:07Then the dad gets the keys and leaves Garfield behind again

05:13So Vic steals the milk and breaks the gates, while the bull continues to get cock-blocked and is unable to give her the

05:19Arby's delight as Garfield and Odie get sent to the pound. Then Vic shows up with the milk just for Jinx to say,

05:24It was never about the milk. I wanted you in prison, dumbass.

05:28And while Garfield sucks in a cage, he gets told by other cats Vic always saw him and watched him from an oak tree.

05:32Yeah, sure he did. But since Garfield has an owner, John takes him home.

05:35Weehh, I thought I had herpes.

05:37Then Garfield returns to his pampered life of goodness,

05:40But he notices the oak tree the other cats claim Vic used to watch him from. So Garfield checks it out and finds out his dad is not a deadbeat.

05:45He does care.

05:46So they decide to rescue Vic, ditching John again, and sees Jinx's plan to throw Vic off of a train.

05:51And with the help of the beef, Garfield enjoys eating. Ginger gets on the train.

05:58Oh no, we stuck.

06:00Where will you go now?

06:01Well, I have John's credit card.

06:03And with the power of cringe and uber eats, Garfield uses food to fight and rescue his daddy.

06:07As we then get a Looney Tunes ass moment, that gets Garfield and his dad to bounce back onto the train.

06:14I wish we could have spent more time together.

06:16Maybe in the next life.
