00:00A lawsuit between former members of Jane's Addiction.
00:04You know that Jane's Addiction last year attempted a reunion tour,
00:09and it did not go well because we had the video of Perry Farrell and Dave Navarro
00:15getting into it on stage.
00:19Perry, you see, going after Dave.
00:21I'm not sure they were getting into it as much as Perry was aggressive.
00:25Yeah, Perry definitely wanted to start that,
00:27and Dave Navarro now has filed a lawsuit over this,
00:32over what you're seeing right here.
00:34It's an assault and battery and intentional infliction of emotional distress lawsuit
00:39filed a year after this incident.
00:41It blew Jane's Addiction apart, the whole reunion.
00:43Yeah, the reunion ended.
00:45They called off the tour two days later,
00:47and Dave now says that there were a lot of things in this lawsuit.
00:52He mentions a lot of things that were going on in the background
00:55that people didn't know before the tour started.
00:58About Perry.
00:59About Perry, and he seems to indicate that Perry was clearly going through something.
01:06What's odd in the lawsuit is that he's saying all those things,
01:10yet he's not like he's giving him...
01:13An excuse.
01:14An excuse.
01:14He's not saying he's not an excuse, and he's now filed the suit.
01:18Right.
01:18And it's not just him, it's the other two members as well.
01:21Dave is the one suing for assault and battery.
01:23All three of the other members are suing for emotional distress,
01:25negligence, and breach of contract.
01:27Jane's Addiction has had a tumultuous history the entire time they've existed,
01:30off and on again over the years,
01:31and it's always kind of blown up or imploded or something's happened.
01:34I think this is the end of them.
01:35It's a very public brawl on stage.
01:38Lawsuits.
01:38Ten million dollars they're suing for.
01:40They don't come back from this one.
01:41Eric, you know who the...
01:42It just makes me so impressed.
01:45The Rolling Stones, just the idea that they could last from 1963 and 4 to now
01:54with all they went through, and they just have kept that glue.
01:58And never beat each other up on stage.
02:00Although they had their ups and downs.
02:03But I think Mick and Keith, I don't know if they ever hated each other like that,
02:06but they learned early on, whatever problems we have are not bigger than what we have as a group,
02:10and they have kept that together for over 60 years.
02:12It's amazing.
