00:04My name is Anne Fundner.

00:06Oh, come here, I'm going to hold.

00:10And I'm an angel parent.

00:12One year ago today, on July 16th, I stood in front of America and told the story of my son Weston, the RNC.

00:22And about how he was a beautiful, loving, had a wonderful life, we did everything right.

00:30But one pill, one mistake, given by a friend, under peer pressure, took his life.

00:37In the last four years, fentanyl became the number one killer of Americans, ages 15 to 48.

00:45And children under 14 are the fastest growing demographic.

00:49President Trump, for four years, we felt ignored.

00:53But you've changed that.

00:56And we appreciate that so much.

00:57You've closed the borders, sanctioned cartels, imposed tariffs, closed shipping loopholes.

01:05Most people don't know about that.

01:07That was a big one.

01:08Dealt with countries, where it's coming from.

01:11You mobilized Treasury, Justice Department, Homeland Security, lawmakers, legislators.

01:18And today, the signing of the Halt Fentanyl Act, bipartisan and overwhelmingly supported by everybody,

01:25making fentanyl a schedule when drug to strengthen the criminalization and prosecution of people who peddle this.

01:34It is a lifeline for families across America and keeping our families safe.

01:41And that's all you always want, to keep America safe.

01:45And thank you so much.
