00:54For instance, three days ago there was a youth forum which brought several students from
01:00different countries and they shared their ideas about the future of our planet.
01:04Another forum was a business forum which attempted to bring lots of community organizations and
01:10business owners.
01:13Pakistan also used the summit to call for deeper regional trade and sidelined diplomacy.
01:17Pakistan feels very proud as a founding member of ECO to be here today to play its role for
01:23regional development and we've had sideline meetings as well.
01:26So this summit also provides an opportunity for world leaders to get together on the sidelines
01:31and discuss other areas of mutual cooperation.
01:34The report being laid today, the declaration going out will send a very strong message with
01:39regard to enhancing trade, investment and more cooperation within the region.
01:43A sentiment echoed by the representative from Nigeria, one of several nations invited his
01:48guests, who highlighted the importance of inclusion and collaboration beyond the region.
01:53The world is in search for more cooperation, more understanding about issues that multilateralism,
02:02so opportunities for countries to cooperate with each other and foster sustainable development,
02:08whether on a regional basis or on a global basis or an important one.
02:13From investment to logistics, regional integration remained the dominant theme across the summit.
02:18It is absolutely important, especially in this pivotal and crucial time in geoeconomics
02:25and geopolitics. Convening ECO Summit in a way symbolizes the traditional role of sitting
02:34on the crossroads of geographical location of Azerbaijan. I think it's a right time to ensure
02:43that the trade flows and mutual investment flows that we witness growing among member states
02:50are given a new dimension, a new impetus, and I think this is exactly what the summit is destined to do.
02:58This is a very important event, which is about developing and coming up with new ideas towards expansion
03:09of regional trade, the removal of barriers for the economic cooperation, the development of sustainable alternative
03:19transport corridors are very crucial. And Azerbaijan plays here a very important role in building the middle corridor.
03:29Leaders focus shared heritage, regional goals and the importance of growing internal trade.
